Marle: The Labyrinth of the Black Sea Reviews

Everything about this game I thought would be good, I played Treasure Hunter Claire and thought it'd be like that. However, I made the mistake of playing on normal difficulty and the game play has a severe looping problem where Marle will do literally nothing for multiple turns OR get constantly stun locked by climaxing over and over again, allowing the enemy to freely witle down your HP to zero and making you lose all progress for the floor. If you can endure the looping then I recommend it. If not then skip it.

Overall a good game. Nice yet simple story, and the combat is easy enough to understand. A little confusing about the stats in and out of the dungeon, but only at first. The end is good, and it's not changed any by the "activities" done during the game. There is a tease about more to come, but won't hold my breath.

My review is intended only for adults who use the patch This is another game that is mostly rape + MC becomes corrupted. Also this is not as brutal and cruel as some others, but is definitely not for anyone looking for romance. Game's theme is essentially: the dungeon makes MC and everyone sexually aroused... So I think this will give you an idea if it's for you or not. Also no cloths destruction or change.... If Magical Girl Celesphonia and Demons Roots are a 10 out of 10 (RPG Maker) games for me, I give this game 6 out of 10. Why 6? Well, I would say this game is actually 4 out of 10 + 1 point because some parts have an unique gameplay (not amazing and gets boring sadly, but it's nice to see something new) and +1 for the effort put in game (as I played worse RPG makers) = I would try another game from this dev (even if I don't expect something amazing) Very important thing: Start on easy and equip said accessory because otherwise you will get very annoyed due to unending rape after rape after rape (Press and hold the Cancel button (X on keyboard) to surrender and finish faster). Especially since MC can start to [spoiler]seek such interaction[/spoiler] making everything worse (no action taken for turns....) Final verdict: Sale, Easy difficulty and only for those who: enjoy monster rape (The type where MC [spoiler]secretly enjoys it[/spoiler]) and understand that this game will get easily boring and grinding => you need to be mentally prepared for it and the game won't be bad (Especially if you release MC's magic -> skill section, outside of battle = MC auto battles).

Hi Guys, I bought this game because I read that in an other country it was well praised. But for me it is horrible. Gameplay is hide and running from the enemy. The naughty scene are well done, but you have most of the time no chnace of preventing it from happening. The Story so far, was interessting. I don´t know the end because I couldn´t endure it anymore. Would not buy it again. Sorry but it was to hard to deal with. Greetings a none-fan

I'm a bit divided on this one. I like the concept, and the art is appealing, but the gameplay can be frustrating at times. A big part of the H content of this game is H events that happen in battle, but the way the system works is that both the heroine's magic (her only effective form of attack) and her resistance to H attacks draw from the same resource bar, meaning that fighting enemies makes her less able to resist H attacks, and that H attacks make her less able to fight effectively. This can create a downward spiral where battles drag on far too long and you start to get tired of the repetition of the H attacks. Alternately, if you level grind and learn how to resource manage carefully then combat H events are rare. It feels like an attempt at a new idea for H combat mechanics that just didn't work work out. Still, it's worth a buy if you're a fan of HRPGs, just wait for a good sale and be ready for some possible frustration.

You walk 3 tiles and you're in combat again. Finish, walk 5 more tiles and you're in combat again. Scenes are good, but getting to the end is an actual headache. 6/10

It was a rather short game, but had decent development with the character. Using Easy mode let's you gun through the dungeon insanely fast. If you play on Normal mode, you are going to stuck in each battle for quite some time... I didn't really find a way to upgrade her weapon, just her accessories, so each battle was about the same length. CGs are the major plus of this game.

Short, repetitive. You get stuck in battles so often you barely make progress. Played for nearly 6 hours now and just got so bored with the same battles over and over again, and good luck running away or NOT getting stuck in H Scene loopholes if you have the patch.

Even though it's kinda lame lewd RPGmaker games as far these types of games go. I did actually bother playing until end and seeing pretty much every scene. It has few neat features here and there, but aside that it's basically little bland and awkward corruption game. But... I'll give it a thumbs up as game was fine enough to not drop it. [h1]6/10[/h1]

Decent game. The combat is challenging unlike most, and it's pretty easy to see all content while trying to win, something I like. Unfortunately for me, the pacing for getting aroused is off. The game has battle sex which is fairly good, but always happens mid battle, rather than after a loss, which means that you're still focused on the gameplay loop while watching it, and unable to unwind. The only scenes that exist outside of mid battle are scenes you can manually view almost as if they are a gallery. Convenient for some, but I like to see more effort and context to my scenes. So the scenes you see naturally aren't convenient for viewing pleasure or coming to a stopping point, and the other scenes are so detached from the core game you may as well just read a doujin. Good art, good game, just not, for me, the best integration of the two.
