If you're really looking for some fire emblem action, I suppose this can satisfy. Its an indie RPG maker game, so I went into it with amateur level expectations. I was ok with everything until the story seemed to stop, and the game turned into a, "Choose your own map to fight on" type of game with no rhyme or reason why you're there. I'm not really interested in that. For this price, I expect a little bit better.

A Pretty decent tactical RPG based on Fire Emblem, which is kinda it strength but also the most annoying part of it.
The only thing i do not like in Fire emblem is the uses of a weapon, i know it is "durability" but there are no ways to repair a weapon, and powerful weapons can be destroyed in 6 uses is kinda meh. But the story is decent, but if you like me find the freaking "durability" to be annoying, dont bother, you find powerful weapons that can be used 3-6 times and saving these weapons to the very last minute tends to be boring. But if you are a true Fire emblem fan then you should get this title.

Still very early in the game but I quite like it thus far, have never had the ability to play any Fire Emblem games but love watching/reading LP's of them so running across this had me very interested. Overall it seems to be a pretty faithful FE style of game, though it does have some annoying bits.
I think my biggest worry is the low durability on healing items, makes sense for the cure root but really wish the healing staffs had maybe 10 uses instead of 3. The weapons at least have good numbers of uses. I'm sure the healing issue alleviates some as the game progresses though and the heroes grow stronger (my Felm is already quite Tanky which is nice to see in the Lord character)
The UI is a bit awkward as well, took me a couple minutes of looking at the level up screen to be certain I understood which stats had leveled. Would be nice if moving things between characters and the convoy was a bit smoother too, can see that potentially getting even more time consuming as I gain more people.
Would be really good to have some graphical indication of which buildings on a map are visitable too, Can get a bit hectic trying to balance checking each building for an interaction option with keeping my formation intact.
All in all, while it could be a better game, yes, it works and it functions in all the ways I would expect from a FE style of game. Certainly looking forward to continuing to tackle the initial batch of side quests for more gear and people and then seeing what the next tidbit of story throws at me.

This game is a blast to play, very addictive and definitely scratches that "one more round" itch. The story is interesting, the battles are thrilling + require tactics, and the level-ups and party management are in-depth. For the price this a wonderful little gem of a game. Strong recommend.

A very good fire emblem clone. There will always be room for improvement, but it scratches that turn-based itch that is so hard to scratch these days with real time bullshot put out by the big companies. I will be buying the other games in this series; both because they are fun and also to support this type of developer. Thank you for some decent turn based games with soul.

If your into Fire Emblem and looking for something to play then this could possibly be the game for you as it wears it inspiration on its sleeve.
Falnarion tactics see us taking on the role of Felm and Momo who are leading a rebel force against your standard evil empire but there is secret about Felm and Momo which makes them a target as opposed to a nuisance this may lead to fighting against some darker.
Gameplay wise it a very typical tactics title and has all the features you would expect for something inspried by Fire Emblem. The main addition I enjoyed was how easy it was to bring up people to usuable no matter how late you get them in the game by being able to use one of the currencies as XP but as counter point to this due to the speed the story progress and sheer number of characters you get it can be difficult to decide on who to upgrade couple this with splitting the party and randomly removing people (I say randomly but it due to story reasons) it can very frustrating investing in a character to either not use them for a few mission or straight up never getting to use them again, this makes the side quest character very important as they are always with you.
Overall I found its little frustrating from losing characters to just how many people have something yet nothing to say and because of this you don't really get to know most of the characters properly. If you have a fire emblem sized whole to fill you get some enjoyment from this but beyond that I couldn't recommend it further

This isn't a particularly good game, but I find it fun to speedrun at least.
The game's sense of balance seems to be "let's throw huge waves of enemies at the player and have them go crazy." It can be fun, in a stupid way.

It's fun and retro but not too stuck in the past.
It really plays like fire emblem and Shinning Force. Love it

In some ways, Falnarion Tactics feels like the most modern and fully-featured SRPG Studio game I've yet played, but its maps packed full of dozens upon dozens of enemies, often standing shoulder to shoulder, often opposing just as many NPC allies of yours, combined with a questionable story and very strange balance decisions, made it actually the least fun commercial one I've yet played.
On the bright side, it makes use of more SRPG Studio features than most, with a huge variety of equipment, two currencies, one of which can be used to buy levels for characters directly, a lot of side missions that you can do in between story missions, and a huge variety of playable characters. It's also by far the longest SRPG Studio game I've played, with Steam saying I spent 22 hours on it, and my final save file time being just under 15 hours.
The story also ... well. It's another Team Syukino game, and you can really tell. A lot of very epic things happen, frequently with little buildup, so people will be joining your team and leaving constantly because they suddenly died, turned against you, or any other reason you can imagine. With only 11 or so actual story stages, the main story is just not long enough to make me care about most of the cast, either, so I pretty much just shrugged when anyone other than the main duo of Felm and Momo became unavailable, except if it was someone who had good stats. (This can also be a bit of a mechanical gripe, as well - you can invest a lot of stuff in characters who then become permanently unavailable. While some of it isn't so bad because you can just clean out their inventory when they're about to leave, bonus points and permanent boost items are lost forever.)
On the dim side, battles against dozens and dozens of enemies can be quite tedious, with a good handful of stages featuring over 100 enemies. Ones where you have dozens and dozens of allies on top of this change it up somewhat, but either you use the fast-forward feature and only get to see the aftermath of all the fighting, or you spend a lot of time watching characters not under your control hit each other. The game balance is also pretty bad, with some characters maxing out with frankly pathetic stats - Norma, for me, never even hit 15 in a single stat other than HP - while others will have 15 in their worst stat and the others mostly around 30. Thankfully, the abundance of revival items means that you can just throw everyone into the meat grinder and revive all the dead people, but the feeling that some characters are never going to contribute anything except taking a fall still remained.
Likewise, while there's a huge variety of weapons and other equipment available, the dev made the strange choice of limiting how many are ever available in the shop, so there end up being a limited number of good - or even tolerable - weapons throughout the entire game. In addition, durability is very low, with almost nothing have more than 20 uses, and many having as few as 10. (Healing staves are hilariously worse, with only 3 uses.) Given the length of the game and the sheer amount of enemies, this definitely contributed strongly to my frustrations with Falnarion Tactics, because I had to spend a lot of time managing people's inventories for the current deployment.
Ultimately, I don't recommend Falnarion Tactics simply because I had more frustration than fun playing through it. In some ways it's the best commercial SRPG Studio game I've played so far, but not in the crucial way of actually being a good game to play.
