So...Emerald Shores came out and I just had a feeling. A feeling that it was going to be good despite there being zero user reviews. It is a very tight and challenging / fair platformer. Plus: Kudos to the developer for including a strategy guide. I know I will be using it and I suggest you do the same. XD

For a couple weeks my daughter (6 years old) and I were playing this game. It was great fun with lots of variety! And, even quite accessible for young players. We completed the boot race thing, but didn't make it through all the levels before my daughter got interested in something else, though, so I didn't get to see a lot of the later levels. I'll definitely try to come back sometime!
Steam seems to think we played 46 hours, but that must be a bug or maybe I accidentally left it running on the menu screen or something. We probably played closer to 5-10 hours, but I can't say for sure.
In any case, I highly recommend it!!!!
