I’ve been playing WolfQuest since the first original game. I actually started playing it because child me saw one of her favourite YouTubers playing it. Before the 2.7 was released. Back then you couldn’t hunt, bite predators and picking up and feeding your pups was such a hardship. Then I also played 2.7, which was such a massive improvement from its predecessor. I played and loved 2.7 over the years, and when the team released the Anniversary Edition, of course I purchased it. So I’ve had the Anniversary Edition from the time it was released. And I’ve continued playing it over the years. The Anniversary edition has come such a long way, and is such a beautiful game. With the recent release of the long awaited Saga, the gameplay has become so much more enjoyable. Now instead of raising pups and that being the end of it, you get to raise the pups and interact with them all adults. The pack gets bigger and bigger with each litter of pups growing up, then helping with raising the next litter. The Saga definitely added so much more enjoyable gameplay to the game. The graphics? Absolutely gorgeous! They recently released a foliage update, I’ve been playing the game for a couple days, and one of my favourite things about it, is the new interactive foliage and just how beautiful the landscapes look. There’s still many features I would love to see in the game, but with the amazing development team behind this game, I know it has a bright future. And all support and success this team has received is all well deserved. It is so obvious that this team CARES and has PASSION about their game. It’s so refreshing to see they’re not just trying to make money. Unlike most games, this is one of the few games that I gladly support by buying the DLC. Because the team deserves the financial profit, considering the hard work they put into the game. Also another point to add, the team really focuses on making the game as realistic as possible. They want you to live the life of a wolf, quite literally. So all the little details that have been added to Anniversary over the years really shows the commitment and dedication the team has for their player’s experience. The community surrounding the game is also really loyal. There’s definitely a lot of long term loyal players who have been here since the beginning. I can’t recommend this game enough. Incredibly immersive and beautiful.

A wonderful, beautiful project of passion that was never meant to get this big or be this loved, but it was. Thank you wolf quest dev team for all of the love and hard work you've put into this game that means so much to so many people.

A real gem of an animal simulator. You'd be pressed to find one of this quality elsewhere, even if you look at high budget games such as Path of Titans, Beasts of Bemunda, etc. In the animal survival genre for a long time we were forced to take whatever we could get as a substitute for this VERY GAME! In this tiny genre, we have the good fortune of getting an exceptional game like this with so much heart and decent developers. It feels satisfying to watch a childhood game (WolfQuest Classic) mature gracefully to adulthood (WolfQuest Anniversary Edition) and i feel grateful i don't have to resort to Roblox to play a multiplayer animal survival simulator.

Very fun to run around on one you get the hang of it. Recommend starting on the easy mode and working your way up. The controls are well done with hot keys and an emote wheel if you forget. Love that the herds and packs wander. Make sure to check you system requirements if you don't have a good gaming laptop/pc. It is a little much for my Laptop even with graphics all the way down, but luckily I can barrow my partners laptop to play occupationally. Very good game over all.

fantastic animal simulation game. I never played the original as a kid, and I jumped into the challenging difficulty right away. I didn't expect to fall in love with the game, tbh, but the challenge, achievement hunting, and collectables really reeled me in. also playing as a wolf is cute and fun

Wolf Quest makes me want to jump head first through a brick wall. This is a good thing. I have loved this game ever since I was a kid. I played probably around 2011, when the game came out in 2007. I was literally 3 years old when it came out. I played for the first time on my mother's hand-me-down laptop that still used Windows 7. I remember downloading it off the original website, not on steam, not on itch.io, on their .edu url. It used to be on a zoo's website!!! Is that not so so cool?? I love this game because it's such a genuine masterclass in how to develop a game as a small team. If The Isle is a masterclass in how to do indie deving WRONG, Wolf Quest is how to do it right. In a recent dev blog, it was stated the game was finally about to come out of Early Access. I think I'm gonna buy the other two DLC I'm missing on that date- I'm enamored by this game. I dragged a friend of mine into the game, and we're playing through a full saga in multiplayer. I'm so excited to what else might get added in the (hopefully relatively short) period of development left, and what the devs work on next. This game is nothing short of a labor of love and I adore seeing how it's grown <3

One of those games you get into once in a while to just chill and enjoy nature. Being a wolf also helps. This game deserves Steams Labor of Love award but to few players to vote for it. An old treasure but never outdated!
