Fire up the game after Saturday dinner, next thing I know I skipped my Sunday Lunch!? What sorcery is this?

Everything about this game could be a little better. Possibly a lot better. I'm not sure I like it all to be honest. Yet it's still kind of fun maybe. But...more importantly it has those funny symbols from France or Uruguay or something weird and they put them right in front of the English words in the title for some quirky reason. Now that makes me laugh. Ahahaahahaahaha good one! 10/10

Papercraft is a charming turn based deck building game. The gameplay is fun after you got used to all of the cards, but it might took a while because the game kinda lacks unit/skill range info and card skills information so you need to try them in game, even if you try them bear in mind every cards has 3 level with different traits. would be nice if they add some sort of a visual representation and range of every card and skill for each level.

As you can se of my playtime, this was not for me. The game is good and has a nice art-style. So if you are a fan of card games and Jrpg's. Then this can probably float your boat. For me, it gave a to big "Free2play mobile game" feeling So yeah, i would give this a 7/10 as a game. This is pretty much a card game with a turn-based Jrpg twist. Edit : For some reason, i can't comment on my own review. Thanks for your answer. To be honest i did not expect that the developer would answer on this. It's difficult to put my finger on it, its just how there are so many achivement things to unlock and get more cards and stuff. It's not a bad thing for people who like card games (and don't think its something you have too, or really can change without changing the whole game); to have extra stuff too do and goals outside of "just" following a story. I was just having that "where is the -buy loot boxes to get more cards- pop up" feeling while clicking around the menu. Sorry, difficult to explain the feeling. In short : The game is good for people who like this type of game, i am very difficult to please when it comes to card games. Since its not really my thing; I bought the game for the art and how the game looked, wasn't expecting it to be a card game in that degree.

Fun card-based tactic game with light exploration and RPG elements. The opening sequence of the game felt rushed and the tutorial doesn't teach anything useful, but the game isn't too difficult to pick up and talking to NPCs before fighting them yield useful newbie tips. The cards and synergy feel well-designed and fun to combo together.

Nice music. Super cute graphics. Many options for card acquisition and upgrades. I like it, although I do not play card collection games very often. So, I am bad, I die often, and one game only lasts half an hour or so. Still fun. :)

I really like this game. Its art style is very adorable (if that's the right word, it's quite like paper mario) and the gameplay is quite deep. I'm only a few hours in but i already experienced a lot of different sidequests and environments. It's a nice deck building / tactical game with a lot of choices and things to do. But be aware that it's kinda grindy (if you like achiements and are a completionist) and is a rogue-lite. So if you are easily frustrated by early deaths due to small mistakes, this may not be for you. I, for one, really like the ever changing nature of the papercraft world and the charme of this game. Translation has some mistakes but is continuously worked on by the devs, so it isn't a turn-down for me. Other reviews mentioned easíly to achieve I-win-combos, but either I am too dumb or they alrady fixed that - I didnt encounter such skill compositions in my games.

It's fun, has cute art, and has an interesting story overall. Cards have a large number of interesting play styles and the riddle mode is also fun. English translation for the story and dialog sucks, though the card translations are good enough that you can understand them all. Some choices are for side missions are kind of dumb as well. The blood mage also has a really shitty early game. Also there seems to be a few bugs in the game. Nothing game breaking though.

Great game, but I would love for these features to improve in the future: - Campaign mode feels short. With only 3 worlds per adventure, the enemy feels weak and you can't build a diverse enough deck before time runs out - There is no real reward in playing the villain in each campaign. The only thing you get from refusing to help the side quests or picking the evil option is a minor difficulty increase for the boss fight of that world. The game encourages you to replay the campaign multiple times in order to unlock new cards but at the same time force you into the same playstyle everytime. - Some card balancing issues. Example being Quartermastering(+2 resources when summoning a combo merc) + Phantom Rush(when you summon 1 combo card, you add a random combo card from the deck to your hand) + a crap tons of 2 resources combo heroes. This will one shot any fight you encounter in the game, a broken combination like this shouldn't be obtained so easily. Start out with erica(have a lot of combo units), explorer shop most of the time will have Phantom Rush from the get go, all you need is Quartermastering which in all of my playthrough I've never failed to get this card early on in the game. - Add a way to customize your starting deck, even by not much. The campaign is too short for you to make anything that's significantly different from the deck you started with, decks like Resonance or Spellcaster are very hard to be effective because there isn't a hero that start with cards supporting those combos.
