The Queen of Blackwood High Reviews

I added this and subsequently bought it quite a few years ago, but because I let myself get swayed by the more negative reviews I left it unplayed until I felt like I needed a VN with all the depth and nuance of your average Hallmark Romance movie - though those puritans would never even get close to the actually (admirably non-fetishized) L-in-2SLGBTQIA+ theme, barely-legal protagonist(s), and anti-authority streak that can't completely be written off as just a rebellious teenage thing (it's literally the point of the very final decision sequence before the ending I got that it's [i]not[/i] that at all). Overall, I'll give it a thumbs up with a few reservations... I guess it could have used some Steam Achievements, given that otherwise you have to make up your own definition of 100%-ing it (I'm going with [i]get all the gallery photos[/i], so I've got at least the other "good ending" to go). But I don't actually feel like it suffers without them. And what is up with every character wearing one recurring outfit to school every single day of the school year?
