Great mechanics, subpar graphics but worst of all, very low player base.

Fun card game! (if thats what you want)
Its a cool twist that you have to discard cards to get mana. Not get it each round like others do.
After a quick first look Im gonna recoomend this game. And it is a cheap one as well.
Thumbs up!

Completely endorse the review from Rebel RF below. Only played the four tutorial duels so far but the game is obviously well on the right path. The price therefore seems ridiculously low - although my 1000 + hours on TESL cost me nothing in real money. It remains to be seen how the in game card aquisitions pan out in cost and usefulness. People should spend on microtransactions, to support the devs. Just as long as it isn't me. Anyhoo, XLNT start - i'll be back often. My fullscreen works, as well. Excelsior!

The mechanics of the game are okay enough. You've got your standard lane combat, sacrifice for mana system, and having fast spells for combat tricks is a good addition. But the market is too crowded with alternative CCGs for this one to compete, especially when the client is as sloppy as it is, with a choppy frame rate that makes everything feel awful and boring, boring art.

Pros:
- campaign isn't trivial.
Cons:
- some bugs (although it's ok in early access)
- the faction system is rather strict and isn't going to grant much variety later on
We'll see later on, but currently the competition is on another level

looks promising, but is not super inovative.
what I liked so far:
The dev´s are carring, They answer questions/suggestions fast! That is a great thing!
There is a strategic depth:
-Lanes: every player has a summon lane and a shared "attack" lane, if u are dominant in a lane you can summon a backup
-also most "buffs" are ground based, if u put it in the attacklane the enemy might destroy it by taking the lane.
-there is a spell order simular to instant/interrupt in MtG
-picking your colour is balanced (u have 3 slots to pick, cards have up to 3 needed colours. So the "strongest" cards only work in mono decks, strong ones only with priorized decks and weak ones in up to 3 coloured decks.
-you can freely pick summoner spells but lose HP for every one u take.
What I dont like:
-ranked battles are the only thing to do after the story
-depending on daytime you have to wait quite some time till a battle pops up
-there is no NPC mode /just story that gives you differnt tasks (without standard situations)
but of cause the game is still early Access and as far as I can tell the devs do this to really sort out problems, bugs and things like that and as long as it doesn´t stay in early access for years (like some other games) I really hope they will do well.

For playing several card games like Hearthstone, Faeria, ESL, etc. I must say that I enjoy my experience in Andor so far.
The game is very promising ...
The graphics and the music are good. The gameplay works well and the system is original on some points like having to discard cards to get mana unlike the majority of games of the genre where it increases automatically every turn. The system of rows and lines of attack as well as that of spells and counterattacks are also aspects of the game that are new and enjoyable. Deck and strategy possibilities are many and varied. The single player campaign is quite long and already offers many challenges.
It is certain that some things would benefit from being improved and that other features could be added, but the heart and the base of the game are interesting.
In short, for the ridiculous price and good quality of the game at this stage of development, I really recommend trying it.
The success of the game will depend entirely on the work and the interest of the developers to polish the game while listening to the comments of the players.

This game is rough. From the sub par illustrations/animation to the poor ESL translations. It's cheap enough and you might have some fun with it, but I can't honestly recommend it.
Update March 2021: tried to give it another go, but it's not any better. Network error crash within 5 minutes, but at least the animations were better than 2 years ago.
It puts you on an odd tutorial rail from which there is no escape, you can't do anything else in the game except the tutorial missions, until they're finished.
The battlefield idea and overall game mechanics are decent, but this is a fairly broken/unpolished product despite the recent patch.
