A solid logic-puzzle game. New rules/mechanics are added regularly as you progress, leading to some delightfully complex puzzles. Since you work from a limited pool of numbers, each level is mostly about trying to find just enough numbers to get started, at which point everything rapidly comes together in a satisfying conclusion. The difficulty curve is also well done, with a steady ramp up in difficulty that never spiked or became frustrating.
My only real complaint is that making notes/reminders is a bit clunky (you have to right-click, drag, and drop for every note you want to place, and I really wish there was some way to just make them using the keyboard).

This is an excellent Kakuro/Sudoko-style game, I highly recommend it. It has quite a few new game mechanics and the well-constructed levels gradually ramp up to an intermediate level of difficulty. One minor quibble I have is the "star" system, and how it dings you a star if you accidentally place a tile in the wrong slot as you're solving. It just doesn't add much to the game. The game is very polished and relaxing.
Important note (maybe a spoiler?): The final level ("D") will drive you insane unless you realize that the puzzle has multiple solutions, and only one of them is recognized by the game.

Puzlogic contains great and handcrafted number puzzles. Most Sudoku-style number puzzles (on paper or PC) are randomly generated and hence feel devoid of surprises or insights (in contrast to e.g. those featured by Cracking the Cryptic). Puzlogic is a breath of fresh air in this regard. I would've genuinely, unreservedly enjoyed solving these puzzles in a physical puzzle book, using colored pens.
Unfortunately, this puzzle book does not exist, and we instead have to settle for the PC game Puzlogic. And *that* doesn't want to be played, nor its puzzles to be solved. It lacks UI conveniences you'd expect, and has further UI *in*conveniences you wouldn't expect. I found it a chore to play.
First and foremost, this number puzzle is entirely controlled by dragging number tiles around with the mouse, which is slooow and requires a gazillion drag&drop actions. It's frankly ridiculous that you can't use the keyboard to place numbers or hints.
Then the game doesn't allow you to take sufficient in-game notes: besides the slowness and inconvenience of using a mouse, you're limited to placing 4 notes in a cell, nor can you record vitally important hints like "this cell contains a 6 of any color" or "this cell is blue". And because you can't take correct notes, the puzzles are far more awkward (and artificially more difficult and mistake-prone) to solve than they should be.
There are two presumably useful UI settings which would provide feedback when solving puzzles, but you can't use them if you're a completionist because they unfathomably disable a level completion trophy.
The game's handling of mistakes is also terrible - it lets you place all tiles, then gives zero feedback for where you made a mistake. Despite this, there's a level completion trophy for "no mistakes", which you inconceivably don't get even if you notice and resolve the mistake before completing the level, and even though the game gave you no feedback that you even made a mistake. It's hard to convey in words how bad this design is. Not to mention that this idiocy is trivial to circumvent (just take a screenshot of the level once completed, then solve it again).
Finally, later levels can easily take 20+ min to solve, and the game won't save your mid-level progress.
I only barely got through the game (despite the great puzzles, which got even better as the game went on) by eventually treating it like a paper puzzle, i.e. taking lots of notes on paper. But that's an awkward response to a bad UI. And in one or two of the final three bonus levels, I even had to draw on a screenshot (!) because of how bad the in-game UI was for these levels.
As a final aside, I liked the relaxing music loop (with birdsong), even though it was quite short.
In conclusion, Puzlogic has fantastic puzzles, but it's a terrible puzzle *game*. There are enough good puzzle games on Steam that there's no reason to settle for one with an unplayably bad UI. For an example of a complex, difficult puzzle game which isn't full of such UI problems, I recommend the amazing Tametsi.

Fairly challenging, maybe a bit convoluted. A sudoku-like that should last you a while. It would be a big quality of life improvement if it had a more open ended system for notes, like the scribbles in Tametsi. It did irk me that, in the very last level, it's possible to put a valid solution, yet it's not considered the *right* one by the game. But as far as I know, this can only happen in that one level. That being said, it's still a nice little puzzle game! Definitely recommend it if you like sudoku or its variations.

Truly a hidden gem of a puzzle game. Tons of hand-crafted levels that were a lot of fun to solve. Definitely a must-have if you enjoyed Squarecells or the such.

Puzlogic is a solid little logic puzzler that focuses on having well-thought-out, handcrafted puzzles, with a nice difficulty ramp.
If you like doing pen-and-paper puzzles - or if you enjoyed the mid-game puzzles of Hexcells - this is an obvious buy. The puzzles are nicely crafted, and more than worth the price.
My only gripe is that the interface is a bit clunky in places - in particular, the heavy reliance on right-click-and-drag is a bit awkward with a trackpad on Mac. Still, the puzzles are solid enough to put up with a bit of interface issue. I'm hoping for a sequel, and perhaps a slightly nicer way to interact using a trackpad will come along there.

I would almost put Puzlogic on the same level as the Hexcells series and Tametsi. The quality and consistency of the puzzles and the difficulty curve were just right, but the game was held back by some interface and display issues and one bad puzzle:
*There is no space to organize the number tiles at the bottom
*The initial sorting of the tiles is different for each level and has no regard for numerical sequence or color
*The final puzzle (level "D") has more than one solution, but, at the time of this review, only accepts one of them

Puzlogic is a pretty challenging puzzle game. Its mechanics uses a mix of sudoku and kakuro. It starts off very easy but the difficulty starts to ramp up around the second half of the game. Towards the end, I was spending ~40 mins per level. I actually dislike kakuro with a passion but this game actually made it fun since the sums are never too great.
Pros:
-interesting puzzles
-tough challenges in second half
-clean layout
-notation system
Cons:
-no saves mid-level
-lack of work space (arrangement of tiles at the bottom depend on the level structure)
-notation system could be designed better and without limits
-bonus end levels 'N' & 'D' have 1 false solution each

A relaxing but challenging logic puzzle game; similar to killer sudoku, but with clever new mechanics. What makes it especially interesting is that cells can have one of two colors, while the provided clues usually only suggest the sum of one color, making it that more difficult to piece things together into the one correct solution.
The game works without issues on Linux.

A challenging minimalistic logic puzzle. The difficulty ramps up quickly as new mechanics are added, though varies from level to level. It could use a few additional features such as mid-level saves and the ability to mark available numbers as used before committing (or move them next to a column or row). Overall, it is a nice time-sink.
EDIT: Update to mention the final 3 "bonus" puzzles are a real disappointment and need an overhaul to be enjoyable.
