Crashes on startup. You can fix this by deleting the movies folder, but it isn't acceptable to sell a game in this state, & the fact that it's such an easy fix, & the publisher hasn't simply removed the offending file themselves, actually makes it even less excusable. It's the exact same cinematic that's up on the steam store page anyway, so there is literally no reason to keep that folder in the game. There's also the problem that Warthunder does everything this game does better, & for free.

Still functions pretty well! (2025) The only downside is that you need to remove the intro cut scene by either moving or deleting the 'movies' folder in the game's files.

A game so old, that physics do not exist!!! Jokes aside (although this was not a joke), the game is enjoyable, despite a lot of issues.
The classic "enemies only shoot you", spamming all over the screen is at times annoying, especially due to the friendly AI's uselessness. Most of the time, the are there to just create a nice scene, but in very rare occasions, they can assist your mission (still most enemies will follow you). Although the enemy damage is very low, so your plane takes quite a punch, in some missions, it is difficult to focus on the mission and the enemies, as enemy fighters always follow you. The dogfights are pretty much dead...XD, where the slowest win, as planes do not stall here, it is much easier to fly as slow as possible to quickly turn to the enemy planes (this is how the enemy AI fights by the way), so if you hit the full throttle, there is a chance you'll physically be unable to see them. The defense missions (especially ground AI) are hectic, as it takes a few tries to get accustomed to the weapon ballistics and non-centered aim sight, not even gonna comment on very low health of defended targets, so there is not much room for error.
However, once you grasp all these factors, you can enjoy the game as a fun arcade shooter, which goes good with song playlists. But yeah, I would definitely recommend much modern Air Conflict games series.
