Please Be Happy is one of the best VNs I've finished in a while. From the artwork to the voice-acting to the characters, everything in it flows and feels downright cozy. I could, in all honestly, go on and on about the various aspects of the story or world that had me wanting more. Not just from the story, but the world and characters. But that would take too long, so instead I'll just list a few of the more minor flaws or problems I had; feel free to assume anything not mentioned is perfect otherwise.
The World
If anything, the appeal to it IS the flaw. I found myself wanting answers that were never delivered, or that none of the characters would ever ask. While that helps a lot with immersion, it gives me a serious itch for a deeper dive into things like the Underworld and the smaller mysteries surrounding characters like Gerbie or Cello.
Alternative Routes/Endings
This one is a more genuine problem; with some of the routes and endings, it is at times a bit confusing where certain people go or why certain actions are taken. For example,
Lyra's entire existence. As well as Aspen's sudden attitude change. Or the existence of characters like Ezekiel.
In a way, it can feel like playing multiple different games. Though, each game is enjoyable.
Romance and Follow-Up
At times, it does feel a little weird how quickly it veers from being a self-discovery story to a more lovey-dovey one. The romance plots are all great, and the serious moments are handled well. But it does feel like some room between them for breathing would be nice. Just to pace the relationships and everything out more.
Final Thoughts
A solid 9.5/10, I'd highly recommend anyone check it out. And if they ever released a sequel, DLC, remaster, or anything set in this world again? I'd definitely pick it up and play, no questions asked.

Delightful and wholesome yuri VN. Took me about 12 hours to complete one playthrough, 19 hours to see all of it. I do recommend seeing both relationship paths because the story is very different in each. The three side stories are also worth doing.

Warmed my gay heart. Very few critiques of the game, all of them nitpicks. Music and voice acting and story were all superb.
