impatiently shaking the ingame cursor makes the webpage load faster.

I don't find reviewing web pages for copyright infringement to be interesting gameplay, and the world didn't really draw me in.

genuinely one of if not my favorite game ever made. it's a beautiful look into a world where your actions impact the lives of people around you in communities who ultimately do not know you even exist, all wrapped up in an excellent puzzle game with a quirky and memorable cast of characters

The level of detail and care put into making Hypnospace Outlaw is incredible. It captures the heart of that era of the internet extremely well. With each new page you get a glimpse into the weirdness, humor, creatvity, and sadness of people hoping to express themselves through the internet. The soundtrack and visuals are outstanding at matching the time period as well.

Good game, main story is somewhat short. Handles the operating system angle better than other games of its type that I've seen.

Would want to give this a mixed rating if anything. While the idea is very cool and it is super charmy, the gameplay can just be quite a chore sometimes and some of the puzzles were not as inventive as the setting and opportunity allowed them to be. That said I still think its worth playing, but the asking price is quite steep for the time it take to play through.

To other mental health crisis creatures like me, Hypnospace Outlaw is in the same tier as Disco Elysium. With all the technology, the corporate/community wars and gooberic nature, it tells many meaningful human stories, in a house built on unearthing both the past and present, the secrets hiding on Hypnospace in '99 are worth digging up.
Worth every cent.

A brilliant and unique work of art. Hilarious, cleverly designed, nostalgic, filled with creativity. Squisherz, are so much fun

Really interesting concept based on the somewhat quirky and obscure early web of the 90s. It brings back memories of browsing Geocities sites and endless scrolling through pages on webrings. It's sluth / detective type of game where you'll need to track down clues to solve missions. Some of which are very intricate. The fact that the game plays like it's own operation system or a virtual machine is really cool.

This game has been sitting in my library for a while, and I regret not playing it sooner.
This game is a love letter to old internet, with an awesome story told all through just browsing
as a moderator. It's visual style is so concise, and it's puzzles difficult but fun to go through just
for the story bits you get from them. I'd fully recommend you buy this and give it a honest shot,
it's more than worth it.
