A delightful visual novel that tweaks the usual tropes enough to give the characters agency. The art is cute and fitting, aiding to elevate the already above average, heartwarming story. It has both serious and funny moments and is respectful of the characters, which have believable arguments and behavior, fairly rare in such titles. Paths are similar, but different enough to be worth it. Cottagecore life simulator, check it out!

[b]Join and follow our Steam curator group: [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/vnislife]Visual novel, JRPG, Anime VN is Life[/url][/b] Wolf Tails is a cute visual novel centered around a have to become half wolf girl Princess of a pack and another wolf girl tasked to find the princess again with a cold demeanor and doesn't hide the hate of humans. Through the story development, we can discover a good amount of character development and some harsh circumstances, like rescuing the runaway princess from her sure-to-be death in a bad blizzard and her human-hating friend Fuyu who ends up getting accustomed and friendlier over time to the human presence. Art and character sprites are alright, but there is still more room for improvement, as some CGs with sprites seemed to be drawn a bit hastily, as if on lack of time and as such devaluating art quality content due to time pressure/ lack of time. The only plus points there were the NSFW CGs which showed still a bit better art style and the ending CGs which I wish would have been exactly that during the entire story. The story has a romantic side but is also a bit monotonous with a few small exceptions where I wish the story could have gone more in-depth to some subjects, as an example in the background stories of the girls, the actual incident with the blizzard in the wolf pack including flashbacks, the life within the wolfpack, not to mention having a real character drawn and shown as the mysterious wolf girl hunter which came during the story. Overall the concept is good, the characters too but still a lack of investment into the story and art/ CG. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the reading and I can recommend it further as being a cute Vn with a decent story.
