It's a good game, despite the flaws.
I liked the ambience for the game, and the story somewhat too.
The credits were a nice touch.
If the following were fixed I would have really enjoyed this game actually.
-Bugs. (Can't interact with things,
wolf in elevator breaks the game if you retaliate too early
)
-Framerate. (In the building I had about 30fps on my 970)
-Voice acting. (Put some more energy into it!)
-Animations. (Ledge & plank movement is just a long pause for the player).
Full list of bugs I discovered
-Pressing continue before starting a new game results in a black screen. ALT-F4 required.
-Interacting with things don't always work, might be a boolean thats still false for example- but theres no message to tell the player that there's more to be done first.
-No fall damage. I was glad of this however, as it made the stairs puzzle take a shorter amount of time to complete.
-Visible developer textures.
-Subtitles don't match what's actually being said.. At all.
-Sometimes people moved their mouths, but nothing were said.
I really liked the idea for this game- hope to see something like this, but improved in the future. :)

I liked the game even though it was short, about 45 mins, and had a few bugs in it, like the phone glitch you can see in the video, it was not unplayable. The story was interesting enough for me to keep playing but I am not sure if this game has multiple endings but it has different outcomes in certain scenes and dialogue based on your choices. I would recommend especially since it seems the devs are trying to fix the bugs.
here's a video fo me playing about the first 15 mins if you want to judge for yourself

Quite literally unplayable. The little bit of impossibly bad voice acting I heard was embarassing and the game wouldnt even get me out of the loading screen. I just listened to some couple fight through a loading screen before waiting a while longer and having nothing happen. Complete trash.

If ever a game shouldn't have been released in the state it was in, it's Typical Nightmare.
This is borderlline pre-alpha and it's a horrific mess.
The ideas in here are decent, don't get me wrong, but the execution a disgrace and it was 40% off release readiness.
From bugs which end the game, to a constant and nausea-incuding wobble from the player character, to dialogue which overlaps each other both aurally and visually via subs, to bugs which restart the game and erase all progress, to doors which won't open till the fourth or fifth attempt, to staggeringly dreadful voice acting, this just feels like someone's mod for something else which was never finished and was disgracefully released in the absolute mess it's in.
The only, single pro I can give this t*rd is the enviromental visuals are a reasonable use of UE4. The NPCs however are not and everything else is a minus.
I can honestly say this is close to the worst game I've played on Steam, in terms of condition, polish, execution and development.
ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!
(ps the dev ignored all comments requesting support - avoid anything they (electrostalin) make like the plague - new game game on its way called Paws and Soul - shudder to imagine the shambles that will be released in)

This one was pretty rough. I know a lot of folks are critical of various gameplay elements, but I couldn't get past the voice acting in the beginning.

Typical Nightmare is an unfinished mess of bugs that skipped the Early Access stage. I spent half the time on loading screens that just wasn't worth the wait as the gameplay is very repetitive where the player must find the correct sequence of doors to continue.
I regret to have bought 3 of Evil Game Studios/Electrostalin Entertainment games in the Otaku Bundle 36. The developer revoked keys on Jan 1, 2019 for all 3 games stating he was not paid. However, the bundle did not end until Dec 26, 2018. The contract states payment will be given 30 days after the sale period is over:

The developer has begun hardcore suppression by deleting comments and topics about the matter to avoid any resolution. Luckily, the main discussion was archived, as well as his initial announcement:

Coincidentally, the dev’s bundle of all 3 games has gone on sale for 90% at the same time this entire mass cleanup has occurred in an attempt to get customers to re-buy the game a second time through Steam. Please do not support this developer. I will be refunding the bundle as it is fraud and very low quality.

Update* - The fatal save glitch was fixed thankfully. It plays better but still some odd issues. I did manage to float above the world and had to hard exit out of the game. The ending was so abrupt I was very confused ?? Here is my complete playthrough -

I think that the initial story behind this game is strong.
I played a good bit of the beginning on my YouTube channel.
I like the idea of a couple being haunted in some way and having to consider calling in an “expert” in this field. So many horror films start out in this scenario including the fact that he is skeptical of her story at first.
It turns out that the man is in fact being haunted. The game quickly turns into a Nightmare on Elm street movie come to life. The movements are very, very slow. I do like the POV and the sounds of the game. The atmospheric sounds are quite loud.
Bugs: There are serious bugs on day 1. The subtitles are all jumbled together and don’t match the speaker’s voice all the time. The cut scenes sometimes seem to play out of order. The best voice in the game is of course the demon. The absolute worst bug I encountered was that it did not save my progress. I emailed them and they said this was fixed.
So far I would recommend the game, hoping that the bugs get sorted out.

Runs very slow, very clunky. Couldn't even get all the way up the stairs cause of a glitch or something... Don't recommend at this time.

Sorry, but this is awful. Not the fact that this is clearly a low-budget production, which is fine as I´m playing mostly Indie-Games, but charging 8Euros for this is really naughty.
I just don´t get why there are any positive reviews on this honestly. The optimization is poor. The doors are so clunky, closing and opening on their own, too many senseless and poor cutscenes, voice acting is not great and has different volumes on each charracter (from I-can´t-hear-you to Monologues that almost blasts your ears.)
I don´t get what is going on in like 90% of the time, the main protagonist talks like he is major stoned which makes his answers hilarious and takes away all the atmosphere which this game is trying to create (but cannot achieve because everything feels so unfinished). The evil spooky p00py demon voice just grinds gears and adds nothing valuable to the story (if there is any)
Faced two gamebreaking bugs in the Building, first: The elevator did drive upstairs without me (I got stuck on the ground and could not get out), second playthrough (after the patch) while meeting the people upstairs thousand events where triggering at the same time, with constant bumping in the background, my wife apparently talks to me while the subtitles constantly switching languages and the game is giving me 3 answers I could not choose while I be pushed over into the door. 5 seconds later the protagonist calls the police (after he tried to figure out the number... dear lord..) and this scene repeats itself 4-5 times and then... nothing. Games just freezes, still with awful bumping in the background. I could not reload any savegame and would have to start all over agin.
No way... never again.

The only nightmare is the slow and buggy gameplay. I hate writing negative reviews, but I hate evem more when the game builds up a great concept and fails to deliver that.
If you want a typical nightmare just go to sleep after eating too much, way easier and cheaper.
