So unique of a gameplay loop, if only it stuck harder

Le doy pulgar arriba porque es muy divertido y bastante único, pero dada la realidad actual del juego no lo compren. Es una lástima que nunca levantó una comunidad como la que merece y va a morir.

Deceive Inc. is a undercover "Battle Royale" where you disguise yourself as npc to extract the briefcase from a vault against other teams of players. This game tested your mettle in how much of an NPC you can realistically look like while fooling the other players. It's sad that this game is no longer getting updated, but the player base for the game is basically gone at this point. It took me forever to find matches to complete all the achievements for this game. My friends and I had a lot of fun setting up traps for others teams, or acting completely like NPC's and then taking them out from behind. It would be nice if they made the game at least F2P for a while so other people could experience the fun I had, but finding a match is almost impossible at this point. I'm still going to recommend it based on what it was, rather than what it is now.

it was genuinely a pretty fun game, didn't get a ton of time into it but I had a good time, it was one of those games unfortunately where you either steamrolled the other teams, or you were stomped into the ground. wish I put more time into it when it was active. would I actually recommend it now? no, the devs have move onto another game, so it's deadware. but the servers are still active, not sure if anyone's on them though. but i'm giving it a positive review for what it once was

I really enjoyed this game, it is a damn shame that the player counts have dwindled so much.

It's over. Games done. Played it a handful of times because most players had better map knowledge or coordination than I did, but it was fun, it was unique! Shame its over now, seems the genre is just forever cursed to fall into obscurity.

This is an excellent game that has, sadly, gone overlooked by a broad audience fascinated by marginally different online shooters. Deceive is a really fresh take on action and espionage but rolled into the format of a shooter. It's really fun to pretend to be an NPC, it turns out. Slipping around people in plain sight was a thrill and hilarious all at once. Lots of good things to say about the gameplay. Unfortunately, because this game failed to garner a decent audience, the entire community is made up of sweats. When the game first dropped, it was incredible. Lots of people were trying the game out and matches were much more even. Eventually people lost interest -- leaving nothing but a small, dedicated core of players. These people will completely destroy you less than 5 minutes into match. They have no mercy. You will die. If you think you can like this game and grind it enough to survive, my hat's off to ya. This was a lot more fun for me when people played it more like a casual party game. Now it's way to serious face for my taste. Your mileage may vary -- if you have the dedication.

Game received a lot of polishment and gameplay-wise is in a great state. Very fun game to play with 1-2 friends. I particularly like the aspect that it is no longer a try hard ego shooter game but rather a real agent-like game. Unfortunately support and development was discontinued - There are no hints to how the game will continue receiving updates

This game is the most unique shooter currently available. Really sucks then that Tripwire did basically nothing to advertise for it, resulting in low player-counts which eventually lead to the developers being shut down. I will NEVER forgive tripwire for not giving this game the attention it rightfully deserved. Make no mistake, this game didn't die because of balance, or poor choices on the devs part. The blame here lies solely on the publishers shoulders.
