This games a great time. its only drawback is it starts you with a bad weapon and then replances it pretty quickly with a better one. i imagine that first weapons poor controls might make someone quit within the hour. stick with it! excelent (only played base game)

This is an excellent action adventure / puzzle / exploration game. The screenshots don't do this game justice. It may look a little scuffed at first glance, but give it a chance and once you really get into it, It's an awesome experience. @DavidM: Well, I think you're trying not to give away too much of the game but I also think that the screenshots could do a better job of showing off the variety in places you can visit. It's like the first few screens all show the same or at least similar biome when there is so much more to see and discover. Maybe it's just my personal subjective perception but it's a reason I put off playing this until recently. Of course, now that I have, I can really say it's one of the best gaming experiences I ever had! :D

Fun first person metroidvania. Has some really nice puzzles and a good number of variety of mechanics that keep things interesting. I adore the environment and being a toy exploring this sandbox, has some very nice visuals and plenty of incentive to explore to try and find secrets and chests for upgrades. The combat is the weakest part of this game, but I think once you get the gun's alt fire upgrade it starts getting better. The writing is mostly solid and tends to get some chuckles here and there, minus the final boss which kinda just fell flat. But looking at the game as a whole, it's a fun time and I'm glad I got to play it! The dlc is nice too, though gonna write a separate review on that. Looking forward to checking out Six Inches Under when I can!

Love it sm. Definetly worth playing! The artstyle is cute too. Personally im not a fan of combat aspects of games so this is perfect for me

Crashes on launch every time. Before it started crashing it was a fun little game for kids, sad that it stopped working.

Biggest surprise ever. It grows on you when you take your time. 1) The characters are fun 2) The puzzles are often creative 3) The world looks vivid and is cleverly put together It dares you to explore the world and find useful upgrades. If you carefully look at the clues you can eventually find your way. But it takes some time to find out what you need to do next and how to solve some puzzles. It also keeps you wondering if and how you can reach some areas. For me it is a weird combination of Mario and Portal. It just isnt for people who want instant action without thinking.

This game perfectly captures what makes games fun. Feels like it was made by gamers for gamers. 10/10

I've never left a review for this game, which is grossly unfair because I am constantly checking other sources for updates on the sequel because I enjoyed this game (and its follow-up) so much. This scratches every puzzle itch in my brain, and scratches it well. The progression is relatively quick (and always exciting), whilst at the same time not being overtly hand-holdy. I have replayed it because I enjoyed it so much. Thoroughly recommend this game, especially if you're a fan of e.g. Portal 2.

Very cleverly designed game. I swear every 10-20 minutes or so while playing it gets an audible chuckle out of me, because I realize the designer did something so smart and fun that all I can be is amused at it's brilliance. Highly recommend.

This game gave me multiple headaches until I completed it. When I was on 70% completion of the game, it felt like I was never getting 100%, but I managed to do it. The game is doing a great job as a metroidvania. The number of times I had to come back to some beggining parts just to find some chests that I couldn't because they we're too high and 100% the game was crazy. I remember that one time when I saw a chest at the carrotville and couldn't get it and when I came back with some upgrades, I finally got that chest. It was the 171st chest out of 172. Also, the game is even better if we take a look that one person made it almost entierly. The only thing I don't like is the playtime. I would want it to be so much longer, I loved the game. I'd give it a 9.9/10 just beacuse of that. Overall a nice game.
