The game is overall enjoyable except for the last third of the game where the hp of enemies and their ability to regenerate turns the battles into long boring combats where we are slowly chipping away the hp...
The last boss in particular can take close to 1h to bring to 0...

I got slay the spire vibes from this minus the roguelite elements. The deckbuilding and combos are great. I have fastforwarded through every bit of the story unfortunately. Game play is really addictive. For the price, this was an absolute steal!

This is an ok-ish game with some horrible UI/UX design decisions, it is so clunky, I can't believe this got past the whole team and all the playtesting (that being said the game is at 87% positive so obviously it doesn't bother that many people).
The fact that there are no tooltips is just a plain stupid design decision in my opinion, especially for the for status effect icons - the first time an enemy used the counter ability against me I missed what they said as they played it and then an icon for two crossed swords appeared under the character and I had no idea what that meant. Also, if you want to inspect an enemy character to see their stats about them you can't just click on them...no you have to go into a menu, then click a button, then an arrow pops up that you then use to point at the enemy you want to inspect - absolutely wild design decision, who actually thought of that? So this critical information is behind menus and multiple clicks. Also, the fact that right click is to go back in menus rather than inspect something seems weird to me. Want to use an item during combat, well prepare to go through menus. It just seemed quite meh and shockingly clunky.
