Currently too buggy to recommend. 3 crashes in 2 hours and spent a half hour in a bugged unsolvable level. I eventually moved all my parts back, used the hater clue computer (it insults you each time you use a clue), constructed the level perfectly according to its instructions and it still did not work. I restarted the game and then built it again and it worked. That's way too frustrating for me to want to keep playing the game until it's fixed. If it's fixed I'd recommend it, it's pretty enjoyable when it's working.

Great! Really fun puzzler that I would whole-heartedly recommend. If there is a sequel though, can we do away with the professor character? He is a stereotype and really annoying.

As somebody who loves crazy machines, i cant really reccomend this title. The puzzles involve you taking a number of parts and placing them in predetermined locations. Because the locations are predetermined, there's very little thought involved in their placement. I found myself spending more time listening/watching cutscenes rather than actually solving puzzles.

This is now my favourite game in VR! If you love head scratching puzzles and VR...then buy this immediately!!!! I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews but it is truly awesome. I didn't even want to leave the game to write this review but I wanted to make sure everyone knows how good this game is. Let me tell you why. The graphics are top notch. I love the attention to detail. The little paint scratches on items, so much work has been put into even the smallest details. The sound is good but the music is the best part. It's relaxing and keeps you interested. They even have a few tunes from the old Crazy Machine 3 game. The physics are great. They are very occasionally slightly random but on a re-run on the machine, it is fine and never a problem. I love the hint system. In reading the other reviews people are saying how easy the levels are, but that is just the early levels. The later levels get a lot harder and now even I find myself using the occasional hint. I am glad the hint system is quick and easy to use and not punishing. I wish Crazy Machines 3 had a system like this when you get stuck. Now the real reason I just can't stop playing this game. Its the super creative, expectional puzzle level design. The machines constantly amaze me at just how inventive they are. Even after completing the level, I regularly re-run the machine just for the pure entertainment of watching these amazing machines work. I love watching the rockets fly and my favourite is the boiling kettles flying off into the air on the anti-gravity levels. The only minor bad stuff about this game is I get an instant crash if I look back-wards on any level from 12 onwards that using the up in the clouds environment. I think it is just a missing asset that I am sure the devs will fix very quickly in the next update. Just don't look behind you as there is no need to and you will be fine. The professor's voice acting could be better but it's not a deal breaker. Lastly, level 2 where you build a machine that zaps and punches the Clumsy (aka Pig-a-Corn) is a little disturbing. Even level 12 or is it 13 has the Pig-a-Corn screaming. I just don't see why the devs had to do this. It should be a fun lighthearted game. I hope in a future update the screams are removed and the game is lightened up a little. Its definitely not horror material but isn't the lighthearted fun I would let my young daughter play. That aside, this game is so much fun. I have been playing it all day and I'm not even halfway through. When I heard only 40 levels are in this game I thought that wouldn't take long at all to finish, but it does. The levels are varied, interesting, the environment changes keep things fresh, the story is ok and keeps the interest (I want to see where it all ends up). This is a great game and for the number of hours / if not days of gameplay, you will get out of it. Then there is absolutely no reason not to buy it. It's a polished, high-quality VR title that keeps the interest and is something totally different from every other VR title out there. I really hope heaps of people buy this game and the devs get rewarded for all their hard work. Only then will devs continue to push the boundaries and risk it to make more innovative titles for everyone to enjoy. Well done Fakt Software & Wild River Games! This game is a winner!!!

What a lovely game. There is even a story to go with it (it is really odd, but in a nice way). The machines look beautiful in VR, and the learning curve is great so far.

Just jumped out to write this review- if you're even kinda maybe interested in this game, don't think, just go for it! So far, this has been everything I was hoping for out of a game like this, and then some. There's even a friggin' story/narration to go along with the stages! Maybe it's just because of the narrator's voice and demeanor, but it's got a Stanley Parable feel to it so far (in that the announcer discusses ridiculous sounding things in a very matter-of-fact voice).

+ It's Crazy Machines in VR! + The Fun puzzles you remember from your 3.1 Days, now in fully rendered 3d! + Unique + Price For Content - A little short - A lot of the puzzles are a little too easy 3/5 Nostalgia Trip from the DOS days hits VR with an interesting game. If you like quirky puzzle games about physics these guys basically made the genre. I'd definitely say it's a nicely executed concept. I recommend this on sale if you like these kinds of games. I'm at about level 10, and it seems easy so far, but there are 40-something levels. The machines are mostly already built, and you add parts in predetermined marked places, which is kind of unfortunate, but I get why they did that in a 3D game like this. The graphics are nice, but I'm getting some reprojection in my hands. This game needs to go lower than 200% SS. I tried the beta Steam VR with motion smoothing, and that didn't help. Grip is used to pick up objects, but I think the devs should make trigger work too. I was able to make trigger work by changing the controls in Steam VR settings so that trigger acted as a grip button. Also, the fingers pass through objects, and it seems like only the palm can trigger buttons and such. That should be fixed. Edit: I'm in the 20s levels now, and they're hard enough that I sometimes need hints to beat them.

Wow what a letdown. I would say this is a kids game but the third level has you building a torture device to shock punch and laser a cute midget pony. What the hell! This game is nothing like crazy machines 3 or any of them. Basically they have built the machine and give you a box to the right with a few parts. Worst part is how easy the parts are to put correctly. They snap into place so a level can litterally be over in 5 seconds. The rest is filler where things do stuff and you... Or crazy proffesor talk. The sandbox mode is not a sandbox mode and they shouldnt call it that. The levels they refer to basically are toy rooms. Pick up basketball throw it into hoop. Smack this ect. Also very boring. I feel the trailor made it seem like you built the machine or put parts and connect them like the old games. Nope. Just snap into place and done. Sorry devs but bad design choice. Id urge anyone to buy fantastic contraption or modbox instead. Theres also a game coming out that lets you build stuff like this i just cant remember the name. just doesnt feel like a game, nonetheless a 20 dollar game, also, no where did i say i was offended by this game, nowhere.
