This game has some minor bugs , last 4 hours and requires you to play through the game once to know a head of time what you need to save lives. Its not a bad game, so its a shame it is so short but its worth playing once or twice. I liked all the characters in the game, both the good and bad guys.

If you're familiar with Snares of Ruin and enjoyed it, I can say the formula of this game is pretty much the same. It is essentially Snares with less ambition and less scope and lasts just enough not to get you bored. The dev needs the means to make a sequel of Snares of Ruins, so if you like these games I'd say you should support him. They are pretty cheap anyway, and ridiculously cheap during a sale. If you've just stumbled upon the game by surprise and have no previous experience with White Shadow's games, I can say it's a story rich game where your choices matter, where there is replayability and several approaches to the same situation, where you'll grow attached to the characters, can date females and grow attached to them even more ;) Graphics are nothing much as RPG Makes is pretty much obsolete in 2018. But CGs and music are very well done and give the game necessary charm and atmosphere. There are also no grinding, RPG-style combat and everything else you'd expect from a Maker game. So I'd say you should try it. You'll probably like it ^_^

Oh my! Had so much fun with it. Err please remember that the medic room is not in the room you are first invited; that door seems to be always opened up to Edan so if you receive the keycard for the Medic, it is the second top on the right above Edan's. (port I think?) One sentence came to my mind commenting to the creator; I really like the config of this ship. You could make a square feel sexy in space. XD So the spaceship do not look like a square but as Matseb2611 assumed after it; "Pegasus-5 - Making a square feel sexy in space since 2018." Classical RPG game but no old SNES fighting. You have to use your head and stats points a lot it is a CoC .

The story and puzzles are great, but influences from dating sims and RPGs which aren't utilized all that well make Pegasus-5 seem a bit confused as to what exactly it wants to be. Check out more of my thoughts in this video (segment starts at 5:02) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/606324836

Pegasus-5, is a great game. I only bought it to help support the developer & speed up funding for part 3 of Snares of ruin, but after playing it I was very happy with my purchase. -Pros Great story arc. Many ways you can finish the game. Great Music never a dull moment, also love the color of the stars in the background. -Cons Only can think of two. First: a bit too short of a story I think my first play through was with all members in tow 3-4hrs Two: romance seams forced because you only spend so much time with each character, & it seams its Alelaira that gets most of that time even if you don't pursue her. 4/5 pick it up if you liked Snares of ruin.

You are Edan Vargas, a new member aboard Pegasus-5 Trade Ship. The ship is set to make a pretty standard trade route with only a small detour to sell a special rare item. However, before long after departure, the crew wakes up to discover that many of the ship’s systems have been compromised and they are lost in space. + Story + Choices & consequences + Art style + Relationship building + Skills specialisation +/- Short game

A fun little game that is worth checking out. Basically an adventure rpg with puzzles and dialogue choices, and no combat. Short (took me 3 hours) but definitely has replay potential due to multiple choices/paths.

A pleasant little game, wish there were more scifi RPG Maker games like this and the Pilgrim series instead of just endless generic fantasy ones...

Pegasus-5: Gone Astray is a casual independent adventure R.P.G. both developed and published by Astronomic Games. In this title you take on the role of Edan Vargas, the newest addition to the crew of the Pegasus 5. As a trade ship the Pegasus is on a routine mission to deliver some special cargo when disaster suddenly strikes at the hands of an unknown saboteur. Everyone onboard awakens to find the ship badly damaged and adrift in space with no memory of how this event happened. The crew will have to band together for survival as they attempt to repair the ship, make their way out of hostile territory and discover the motives as well as the identity of the saboteur. Prepare to go on yet another thrilling adventure with this intriguing latest entry from Astronomic Games.
GAMEPLAY
If you've ever played any RPGMaker title then the gameplay of Pegasus-5: Gone Astray should be quite familiar to you as it uses the same assets that many of us players come to expect from that particular genre of gaming. With that said, this is a R.P.G. with your character earning experience points after completing a series of tasks which then allow you to distribute said points to various skills. The skills that you choose all serve to enhance Edan in some way depending on the type of character that you strive to be. In this title those skills can range from Athletics, Engineering and Medical to Charisma. Based on the expertise that you possess as well as what level it is at can provide many beneficial attributes for Edan such as being able to hack computers and machinery with a high enough Engineering skill or fight better and perform other feats of strength with an ample Athletics skillset. Another quality that I love about Astronomic Games titles is the non-linear gameplay in that there are usually multiple ways to complete a task or mission. Simply put, not only can you use brawn but brains as well as other abilities to accomplish your goals which is excellent in my opinion. Choice also matters as you will be faced with a number of vital decisions to make during the course of the narrative which will affect events in the here and now as well as the ending of the game so choose wisely. All in all, this title manages to incorporate some great gameplay aspects while wrapping an intriguing story around them which makes for a wonderful gameplay experience.
VISUALS
As always I have to say that I really like the look of Astronomic Games RPGMaker titles over most others because they tend to ditch the "chibi" looking characters for more realistic looking images. By no means are RPGMaker games going to overheat your graphics card but I do admire the thought and detail that goes into the background and environs of this title as well as the others in this developers excellent stable. In addition, the lovely portrait artwork used in the cutscene dialogue is particularly eye pleasing. Also, the musical score is catchy and blends in quite well with the overall dramatic and spacefaring theme of the title. In the end, Pegasus-5: Gone Astray puts forth a terrific visual presentation especially for a RPGMaker title.
CONCLUSION
Once again this developer continues to deliver a solid game with very memorable characters and a terrific narrative which is what keeps me coming back for more and more of these wonderful titles from Astronomic Games. Replayablility is high due to the number of different skillsets you can choose for your version of Edan as well as all the achievements which you cannot possibly get in just one playthrough. Option-wise like I mentioned before, there are a number of Steam Achievements to hunt down but sadly no Steam Trading Cards to collect. In summary, this title takes you on a wonderful spacefaring adventure brimming with action and intrigue as well as possible romance so Pegasus-5: Gone Astray is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to R.P.G., space and story-rich fans one and all.
