the seal the deal finally sucks ass. there are no indications of where to go except where the rescuee is but it doesnt help when its something like the iceberg where you cant just go and grab them but instead you need to do parkour while every identification of where to go(pons leading to paths) contradict each other. if this wasnt a paid dlc i would let it off but this isnt that.

A hat in time is one of the best platformers out there, and a personal favorite of mine. This dlc presents modified versions of preexisting levels that are more challenging. But challenging is an understatement. These levels feel more like a spit in the face for those trying to complete the game 100%. A lot of them barely feel thought out properly, and some feel like the devs slapped a couple of win conditions you have to fulfill disregarding if they were doable/fun. They are inconsistently difficult too, some being get all collectibles and others being as hard as beating a level designed to be a speedrun with multiple jumps, without jumping. (They had to add a line of dialogue to explain a soft exploit you have to do to even have a chance) The dlc also offers a normal level, but it is so short that it might as well be a part of the base game. This is the only good thing about this dlc, and it is over so quickly. If you played A Hat in Time and wanted more, buy Nyakuza Metro. If you want to challenge yourself, play mods; Free and easy to install, and more importantly, balanced with fun in mind. If you want to be frustrated, play cat mario. At least then it doesnt feel like a stain in one of the games you like. If it werent so cheap, I would give this a 0/10

Seal the Deal is genuinely amazing, despite death wish being the reason being hell-world, it is entirely optional. I love seal the deal with all of my heart.

Only features 2 levels, not including time rifts. Ship Shape is hands down the worst mission in the entire game. Good way to SH if you don't like cutting.

The cruise is short, only 3 levels and 2 of them are bad with barely any npc interaction. Second level is worse than pipe.
