Worth it for the Pocket Dimension by itself. The Communist class seems great as well

completely necacary. This expanshion fixes the biggest problem with the base game. The limited inventory was too limited to allow for crafting. Now you have a pocket dimenshion all to yourself that you can use as a unfinitr closet to cram all the ore, ingots, reagents and junk you need. Side note: DONT GO INTO A RED PORTAL

Nice DLC. Pocket dimension will bring you memories of pocket households of TES: Oblivion. Your own house in your pocket, what can be better? Exchanging graffity(dungeon level keywords) with friends also sounds like nice feature to giggle. Can't wait to try this one.

Probably the best DLC for Dungeons of Dredmor, as it provides gameplay on any floor, rather than just the last 6.

There's a lot of greatness in this good game. A ton of customization and a ton of content. Especially if you get the three available DLC's. The base game deserves the positive reviews. It's a bit hard at first, but quite easy to learn. Winning for the first time feels simply great. There's a lot of achievement stuff to unlock. And if you want, you can milk a lot of hours. The playtime value of this game is very high. Overall: I just have to recommend the game. And this good DLC is also really nice to have. It actually gives you a lot of additional stuff. The price of this cool DLC is simply very low. And it will also increase the overall playtime. That's exactly what I like to see in the DLC's. I simply have to give it this a positive review.

This expansion adds quite a lot of skills that I personally enjoy. Additionally the additional wizard-themed content gives the opportunity for additional experience points.

Fun expansion. Never thought a communist, banking, paranormal investigator would be one of the most broken things ever.
General Experience
Unlike Diggle Gods, Wizardlands focuses more on enhancing the existing gameplay features. One of the bets quality of life items is the Pocket Portal. It doesn't look like much, but you are able to teleport at any time to your pocket dimension and store items or gear inside of it. Treat it more like your bank and it becomes a hoarders best friend. You generally find one somewhere on the first floor. You also can access extra realms which add a mini dungeon you can clear. These always have artifacts and the enemies are a bit easier to kill. It makes getting to max level much easier and quicker. The new skills are all pretty useful, Tourist being a great addition to trap removal and Egyptian Magic being busted AF. Overall another amazing addition to Dredmor.
Complaints
No issues at all with Wizardlands!
Replayability
While the DLC doesn't add more replayability on it's own, it does make all your other runs hold more value. Being that Dredmor is near limitless, you do get some extra skills to play with and Wizardlands will ultimately enhance your future runs.
Achievements
The DLC adds several achievements to the game (which does mean you are required to buy the DLC for the full 100%), all of which are quite accessible. None of them are bugged like a few were in the base game.
Technical Issues
I didn't have any new issues with the DLC being introduced.
Value
It's wild that the DLC is valued at $3, but even better is the full edition for $7 which will net you all three DLCs, all of which are worth it. The game often goes on sale for about 50%, which makes it shockingly cheap for the amount of hours you can get out of the game. Like DIggle Gods, you really want to add this as soon as possible for maximized gameplay.

Whatever you do, DON'T go into a red portal. Anywhere. Also, don't pull lone switches in the Wizardlands; you will die. Besides the small bits of new random BS, this is a fantastic expansion and adds a ton of depth and exploration. The new skill trees are very unique and creative, creating new strategies and generally changing how you play. Encrusting is fantastic too letting you add stats to weapons, armor & accessories with your crafting trees. There is a bit of randomness to the effects you apply so be careful with how many you stack per item. CotW is fantastic and should be purchased by anyone who enjoys the base game. $2.99 for a new crafting system, 6 skill trees, and hundreds of new, unique dungeon floors? Sounds like a good deal to me.
