No force feedback on steering wheel. iRacing, I am disappoint.
Ok there is FFB, but it's just super weak. Also no manual transmission. Also the AI will go 3 wide and basically barricade the track so you can't overtake. Passing in general is just annoying and the AI's driving in a big ball makes it worse. Also there is only 3 cars, and they are in different leagues so you don't actually get to 'pick' a car.
Honestly the moment to moment driving isn't bad, the graphics are ok, there's no loading time. This game probably would have fared better without being associated with iRacing, cause it's not that kind of game. I got it for 5 bucks, and I guess I got my 5 bucks worth.

Loved this game for its single player (sadly brief). Good to great physics. There was such a potential here and is still worth it on a massive discount. However the online part / multiplayer is dead and there have been no game updates for nearly 10 months so it seems this is basically a dead title. Sad really.

Quite simple in concept and execution. Dirt racing on a far-off planet.
Introduction is brief, and you can jump into a campaign race quickly.
The campaign fairs typically of a standard racing game. Do races, unlock more events, increase vehicle class.
(I have yet to try the challenge content.)
Some basic customization options in the form of color swatches, flag emblems, tail lights. A few different vehicles with varying stats.
Mechanically, the vehicles perform as expected, but when pushing top speeds, it's easy to find your vehicle drifting and losing traction during corners. In the worst situations, sliding off track and launching off into the air and being forced to reset, usually with a time penalty. So keep that brake handy if your approaching a sharp corner rapidly.
Collisions make overtaking opponents tricky. If you're like me, you'll find some entertainment in cutting corners for overtakes, or brewing some chaos in a pack of cars hogging the racing line before the lead.
So far, not a bad game. I dig it.

If you turn on some of the assists, then you've got a brilliant little arcade racer here. I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, but it could be from baggage - I came in completely blind, not knowing a thing about the game, and I love it.
It's just shy of 5GB, looks, sounds and plays great, and it runs perfectly on my Ally X, making it great on the go.
It's basic, but that's not a bad thing. It's not pretentious, overreaching or pandering. ExoCross is what is it, a great little arcade racing game that you can jump in and out of when you feel the need.
Great racer that I got at full-price and was completely happy with. On a sale, it'll be a no-brainer.

People expecting this to be something even bigger like it's a NFS or a Forza kind of missed the point of this game where it really does just kind of feel like a spit ball concept with some really nice and fun handling physics huh.
The concept of the game (and the most bare bones of a story you're given) is that racing as a whole in the far future is almost non-existent, however sim racing has been around for years and humanity comes across a planet that they terraform into a massive racing world. Creating these dirtcross buggies and having people remotely control them from Earth. It has some inklings of Wipeout in my opinion of the "far future racing league" concept which I wish went into more detail with but it gives the reason why you're driving through different biomes and there's no drivers in the exocross buggies.
This is his first and foremost a console racer than a simulation even though it does have some hallmarks like the damage model and the tire degradation, including the featured physics model that is shown off on the store page. But it's pretty fun! It is very basic as a racer but the physics and the whole concept Is it really intriguing however I do think the one biggest issue I have is the price and for $20 for what you get initially at least It's really not worth the price I would say it's more like a $10 game than anything or it's definitely a game that you should get on sale like right now as of writing.
I see it as a fun little game to get either on sale or if it ever goes down in price and it's a decent racer especially on Steam deck, despite the abysmally negative reviews I've seen I highly recommend it and I think it should be given another shot with some more features and additional depth to its gameplay. I mean hey if the original Wipeout was relatively barebones And then XL came out and added much more on top of that, wouldn't hurt to see a exocross XL.

This game seemed like it was going to be a great, polished, unique, and interesting racing game. It ended up being pretty much none of those things ... it just feels half baked and unfinished through and through.
