Such a fun, card-and-dice based dungeon crawler. You have to have just the right amount of strategy and luck.

The probability that you'll win a round is ridiculously low. Kind of breaks the game.

The beauty of the original card game was its strategic depth despite its physical simplicity. There are no such constraints for the digital version, so it didn't really leverage the format very well. I played it for 3 hours before uninstalling it.

I don't dislike this game. It's a neat little RPG with roguelite progression in board game form. I play this when I don't feel like setting up the physical game. There is one important thing to note: this game is HEAVY on RNG. You gain items and skills to mitigate it and there are opportunities to be clever. That's the fun part. The less fun part is when you enter a scenario that you are heavily favored to win and then roll nothing but 1's and 2's on seven dice. Runs in this game will absolutely end through no fault of your own and it rarely feels like it swings the other way. That being said, it's pretty inexpensive and you can get a lot of mileage out of it if you're already well familiar with how unforgiving player-against-the-game style board games are.
