I think I like this game I can't say I'm "eh" on it, because I'm not. I thought the puzzling was really novel, and I loved getting to explore the areas. This game's visuals are wonderful (I'm particularly partial to the aquanet) But it's got, like, a LOT of clunk. The exploration can feel really wonky in some of the bigger areas, the hyperlinks can be a little weird to work into. There's just enough friction for the game to feel a little unsatisfying. (I really don't like how the camera stuff functions. needing to hold it to see the tokens is a pain in the ass) Past that, though, I think the game's good just to explore. There's a lot of sights to see, and the game explores many different aesthetics under the vapour wave umbrella. Ironically, I think the inclusion of clunk and dead memes actually helps the experience, rather than hinders. Really helps lean into the game's whole like, enshittification angle with social media (Actually, it's maybe a little more relevant now than it was when it dropped, lol) If you're looking for story, there isn't much DIRECTLY there, but there's plenty of thematic stuff to mull on while you explore the vapourwave environments. I think too much dialogue would've broken up the experience, anyway. It's a really nice game to pick up if vapourwave is your jam. I'd say this game is around a 6.5. Plenty of good, but just enough dragging it down that I can only really recommend it for people who like this stuff like me.

It starts fine, but later in the game because of how slow you are and how big areas are, plus the final scavenger hunt, its kinda tedious and the slow movement starts to hurt a lot. Also its kinda buggy

This is the perfect chill vibes exploration game. There are some rare bugs and soft-lock spots so just be sure to save often.

It’s fun vaporwave aesthetic game. The last 25% or so gets some more tedious puzzles and a darker more horror-like aesthetic that I wasn’t really into. Still a fun game though.

Just finished my first play and I have to say that this game is a masterpiece, you can tell how much effort went into every part of this to perfectly capture a very specific vibe. Every second of this game I felt like everything was going the way I wanted too, everything I did felt like my decision and not one forced on me by the game (despite it being a relatively linear story). I always trusted my gut and my instinct and when I did encounter a road block (whether it be finding something or traversing an obstacle) I found it to be an extremely enjoyable puzzle and a great sense of pride when I eventually found a solution. This game reminds me closest of the fun I had beating portal 1 and 2 for the first time, it also reminds me of how it feels roaming an empty Garry's mod map. The story is fun, the jokes are a nice chuckle and every single song in this soundtrack is phenomenal. One of the only games I would call a MUST play

Got it less than a dollar on sale. didn't expect much and happily it became one of my favorite games ever. Honestly it has everything I need from narrative exploration/adventure game. Usually it's hard for me to complete such games without additional walktrough but here all the missions were easily understood in a good way and gave a great accomplishment feel. Very beautiful, funny, clever, interesting, varied and filled with amazing content everywhere. Controls and mechanics all add to experience. Setting is very emotionally important for me, and both soundtrack and visuals were perfect for it. Really loved the puzzles in the end and they reminded me Portal 2 for some reason in a best way. 9 hours of beautiful atmosphere and deep story for less than a buck. Really hope it gets attention it deserves and anticipating the sequel

I really want to love this game because the visuals and overall vibe are so unique and fun... but I simply cannot give a positive review when I've experienced not one, but TWO major glitches (lol, the irony) that has made the game impossible to complete. I'm literally trapped inside DTOP tower. Devs pls help.

I just played through the game a second time. A second playthrough meant I knew (mostly) where I was going. There were even more techniques I used that I didn't use before. I think an initial playthrough made the second half of the game easier, whereas being older made the first three-or-so levels much better. I underwater level was my favorite, XD.

I can't explain it but something about this game just resonates with me on such a deep level. It's like an old friend I never even knew I had. If you were ever a fan of the Vaporwave era of the internet then I highly recommend playing this game.
