Sable isn’t just a game—it’s a soulful, artistic journey. It invites you to slow down, breathe in the silence of the desert, and find beauty in curiosity. From its striking visuals to its meditative pacing, it’s a one-of-a-kind experience. Sable dares to do less—and ends up delivering so much more. It’s a meditative, artistic odyssey that stays with you long after the credits roll. Not for everyone, but unforgettable for those it speaks to. One of the most quietly emotional moments in Sable came when I had to choose my final mask. After hours of gliding, exploring ruins, helping strangers, and collecting badges, I still didn’t feel ready. Each mask represented a life—a path—and I wasn’t sure which one reflected me most. I finally chose machinist due to the one in the Ibex camp being my favorite npc and his quest line is what initially peaked my interest, and also what isn’t cool about a hover bike. However Llhor was a close second but I didn’t want to be an entertainer.

10/10 would play again! Couple bugs, but nothing that made it unplayable. Mostly just color (or lack thereof) stuff. Once, an entire building was invisible, which made for a hilarious screenshot of Simoon hovering in midair. But I think that merely adds to this charm. Once enough time has passed for me to have forgotten parts of it, I'll for sure be playing it again!

Early review at only 5 hours in the game. I was hesitant to buy Sable but now I regret not getting that game earlier. It is a masterpiece reminding some of the 90s european scifi comic books. It's more than a game, it's a whole experience.

A great chill game with a beautiful world. Holds deep meaning too, though you can engage as much or as little with the meta parts of the story as you want. If you just want to chill and ride your bike around, this game has plenty for you too

I really loved this game. A beautiful open world with so much to do, and dozens of missions you can do, but no traditional "main quest" at all. Entirely unique, and well worth spending a lot of time in!

I've beaten this game twice on PC and absolutely love it. The Moebius inspired visuals, the vast open world and the nonviolent gameplay. The music by Japanese Breakfast is atmospheric and perfectly complements the visuals. I really felt like Sable going on my own ritual journey. I do wish the game was less buggy and glitchy. Even having beaten the game twice, I would double dip and buy it again if it was ported to the Switch 2 and performed well. I bet a lot of people would love it on Switch 2.

The Good: I love to be a little cartographer and to ride around on my little bike and to solve little puzzles and meet little people and collect little things and explore the lands. I love the freedom I get to just ride around and find things hidden in the valleys and on top of the mountains. I love to climb and jump and run and float around to find little things everywhere. The Bad: I do not like when my bike flips over because i rode it over a piece of dust. I do not like that I never figured out how to go sand fishing (fishing is my favorite part of every game). I do not like that sometimes the puzzle is to hit a button and other times the puzzle takes 8 hours split over three days and then you give up and look up a walkthrough on youtube and it was literally just to hit a button. I do not like that the NPCs don't have stories and you don't get to build relationships with them. The Ugly?: I'm not personally a fan of the art style. It doesn't ruin the game for me, but I don't watch the sunset and appreciate the hard shadows and solid blocks of smoke. Overall, I would recommend this game to people who really like exploring and solving puzzles and don't care as much for deep storylines.

Chill vibes. Interesting art style. The puzzles and exploration are engaging and I had fun running around unlocking new skins for my bike and character. I don't complete all the achievements in every game but I did in this one. Kept me entertained and I was sort of hooked on the exploration of the world a bit more than the lore. I found that sort of flat. I will say that the animations, music, and sound effects were decent. Overall, enjoyable experience. I had some optimization issues with Vsync, lots of screen tearing but that could just be my setup. Otherwise, the game performed well. I 100% completed the achievements in the game but did not 100% unlock everything. There were still some bike parts and costumes I could have foraged up enough money to purchase. However, I chose not to. There were some odd things about the climbing mechanics at times and the camera could be a pain but they were manageable enough to get around. Sometimes the color / shader engine would put me in monochrome render and I couldn't see certain elements. Saving, Exiting, and reloading fixed that every time and didn't really disrupt my gameplay. Cool game, I could see some areas where it could be more engaging. Masks, Clothes, and Bike Parts could use a lift so that they are more effective and do something for you. I unlocked a set of bike parts that outperformed every other bike part which made me not interested in changing it up. THOUGH, some of the costume and bike part designs were REALLY cool they just didn't do anything special for gameplay. I don't think any costume or mask actually gave you a bonus to hovering, climbing, fishing, or looting which were all things you did repeatedly. Merchant mask didn't change prices, Scrapper mask didn't give you more pieces of scrap from pickups, etc. I could see a cool synergy for a second title in the game where you load your game save from this one and start off with the decision you make at the end. It could be cool to carry over certain unlocks into that game as well. Like things you did for characters and masks you earned.

The vibe captured in this game is immaculate. Feels like a ghibli movie environment with a surrealist flair i get to go out and explore the far corners of. Cannot express my admiration to the small team of developers enough <3

^^^^^ so called "free-thinking" Jean Giraud Moebius enjoyers when there's an open world science fantasy RPG set in a surrealist desert planetscape with Arab-futurist aesthetics and environmental worldbuilding heavily inspired by New Age metaphysics
