That the game is almost the same as the awesome "Kingdom" series....doens't matter
That the game is priced with 10.79€....didn't matter
That the game has some bad translations....not important to me as i am aware of the english language (i think so)
BUT...the game is not optimized and runs out of resources as you play endgame.
As you make it further and progress to day >200, you will face framedrops...later on, the game will freeze for seconds and grants you with a frame by frame slowmotion...
I have to give a thumbs down as the resource management of the game could be really better if the DEV would have spent more time while converting a nice game to a 3D (almost) clone

I don't give a darn about copycatting or such. If the game good then it's good. While it looks good and seems fun at beginning it will nosedive at the end due to sharp fps drops. After you reach a certain amount of units game's fps will drop to 10-30 from to fixed 100.
Hope they will fix that problem so i can try again at the future date. But till then, it's an absolutely NO from me.

The Wild Age honours its source material and the move to a 3D environment makes sense. The game can be immensely enjoyable for the first few hours but that gives way to bland routine later.
The REALLY bad thing are the controls: it is ackward, with odd turning speed and hard to control. Unlike the original game, which is simple, fast and intuitive.
In fact, I stopped playing due to ackward movement.

I like this game. Its a very chill game, not so much casual but chill. Its go some bugs and can be a bit punishing if you don't establish your base properly first. It is, however a fun game to play. I Hope the devs give this game long-term support as i think this game can become alot more than it is now.

Game is fun, would recommend for that price, although the gameplay is a bit short. It certainly has potential, would love to see The Wild Age 2 with more complexity.

This is a very basic game that takes about two hours to fully explore. Nice graphics, enjoyable for the novelty, not replayability. I'd grab it for $5, but not much more.
As others have stated, very very similar to Kingdom. Probably worth playing that instead. Surprised this game got released from early access when it did, thought the developer would do more, but I guess they're giving up.

I like the game, but have never played any of the Kingdom games.
Negative is controls are terrible. Same button drops coins as well as feeds your mount so end up dropping coins when you just want to feed your mount and vice versa.
Needs to have seperate buttons for various controls. This game could do with a lot of improvement. You should be able to tell archers which gate to go to or when about to be attacked to tell wood cutters to retreat as the cancel on the tree is not good enough as you have to retreat as well and don't have time for that.
Also no variety in the islands you go to, it all looks the same. Just forests. I liked playing it at first but can't recommend as the game needs a lot of improvement and needs new maps and variety of areas and not just forests. And the game gets very boring during winter.
But seems like Devs have abandoned the game.
6/10 sort of ok but needs more updates and improvements for this game. Before I would recommend it.

Pathing is atrocious and the game does one of the biggest crime a game can make, namely
being boring and not fun
. The screenshots on the store page look way better than the actual game too. This game could be 2D and it would change literally nothing by the way, considering the level design is in a way that there's no two gameplay elements side by side .They are all stretched out in a tunnel level design following each other in a row. The 3D is just a gimmick here.

Sometimes you just want to get away from intense gaming and play something fun on the side while watching a movie/series. This game delivers it all, it's fun and has a familiar feeling to it that you are instantly going to love. Rules are simple and there isn't anything that could turn you off and it's so far bug free despite being an early access game having played it for over 5 hours.
Edit: So I had some minor issues with this game and a major one which was the global blur being applied to my 3440x1440 resolution to the point I couldn't play the game anymore as my eyes wouldn't stop watering but devs came to rescue and issued a quick hotfix to sort out my issue.

Its a straight up clone of Kingdom.
It does have some improvements over Kingdom like knowing how much money is in your bank and how much interest you're earning, but not just the concept or gameplay was copied. The cost of walls and units, the cost of hiring new villagers, even the jobs you train your people to do, with the single exception of the worthless woodcutter, at least in Kingdom your builders chop your trees.
Let me quote the devs for you:

Look at Satisfactory compared to Factorio. The games are clearly similar but the aren't identical in features. Enough is different between the two of them beyond just 2D and 3D for them to happily exist without one being seen as a total copy of the other.
Add new things you wished were in Kingdom, fix issues that made the gameplay less enjoyable. Make it your own and it will be a good game, not just a 3D looking copy.
I don't think most people will care the concept might seem "copied" from Kingdom if you change enough to make it your own. But starting off making a 1:1 copy of a game is a good start, just take it to that next level and you'll have a great spiritual successor to Kingdom."
Dev's response:
"That's exactly what our plan is.
The basic concept is the same, but other things are and will be according to our ideas."
Basic concept is the same? No, all concepts are the same. I can count the differences on one hand. You took what someone else did, copied it exactly, changed a few minor things (yes improvements, I agree) and you are now making money off of someone else's work. I'm all for expanding the genre but this is plagiarism.
Granted there's more content in Kingdom than in this, which is why it's getting a negative review. This should be an early access game -- not a fully released game, McMagic Productions should be ashamed, or better yet, shut down.
It's also so similar to Kingdom that Noio, Licorice should seriously consider contacting a lawyer or request that steam removes the 95% clone.
