hey, have you seen my gun?! bought this while in a borderlands crave, i played 2 to death (still havent done the DLC tho), wasn't interested in pre sequel and 3 isnt smooth enough on my PC, so i got this one. coming off of around 125 hours on 2, this one was a bit weird to play. the gunplay felt roughly the same, but the world was desaturated and the funny yellow robot wasn't very funny. that being said, it's still borderlands and it's still one of, if not, the best looter shooter, you got class variety and a bunch of different weapon classes (tho theres only really 4 weapons per class) and everything is viable, so just pick up what you like and have fun. one thing i really didn't like is how big and empty the maps are, it felt like every area was big for the sake of being big and they didn't really put anything in them, making navigation a chore because every place looks the same, just with a different shade of yellow. plus it's also really short, beat every mission and side quest in the base game in around 10 hours. it's cool, but not a must play

I miss 3/5 of my headshots, but I'm used to it. I would have like a difficulty option for the enemies, but it's level based, so I guess it's okay. I really like the remastering of the game, as it looks nice in 2024 for being a game published back in 2009. Bring some friends and start the killing spree!

A lot shorter than I expected it to be. I did every sidequest in the base game and beat the main story and still hadn't hit 20 hours played. DLC sidequests are a slog that didn't seem worth doing, the worst part being that each dlc area only has one fast travel point. The biggest offender is General Knoxx - the amount of loading zones you need to go through to turn in some quests is so obnoxious it's actually faster to hop out of the game and re-load so you spawn into the dlc's hub. But that's just a leftover from the time it was developed, after all. overall it's definitely still worth playing today, at least one playthrough. I don't see myself ever coming back to replay it. The DLC is kind of mediocre.

Eu gostei do jogo. Joguei ele agora no final de 2024, então é esperado alguns bugs e também uma jogabilidade não tão fluída. Nada impede de se divertir e curtir o game. Historia simples, porém interessante. Combates legais e equilibrados.

A memory leak issue bricks the game after a certain amount of time, forcing a quit and reload to get fps back to normal. The issue's been there since the launch, and Gearbox have done nothing to resolve it. Hard avoid, even on sale. Play the original instead.

this game was an absolute nightmare to get running decently well, i was driven mad over the course of about an hour or maybe more just trying to get the game to not feel like utter crap to look at given the horrendously inconsistent framerate that genuinely made me want to vomit. but then i got it working to a pretty good level of quality and it basically all just clicked. immediately fell in love, and i don't just mean with claptrap. from minute one, i was having a total blast, and i basically had no technical issues with the game going forward. i was perfectly satisfied with basically everything the game provided, even as someone who isn't necessarily the biggest fan of shooters, i guess looter shooters are an exception! one notable issue was the lack of fast travelling from anywhere, which got really inconvenient in one of the dlc's, since in this game, all the dlc's only have a singular fast travel point, despite how large the multitude of dlc maps actually were. but aside from that relatively small issue, definitely recommend picking up as part of the collection! it's a great way to ease yourself into the utter insanity that comes next. 10/10 would stare at moxxi when i'm supposed to be shooting a horde of psychos again

This was great to play again, since 2009. The "Enhanced" part provides better graphics, better frame rate and a few QOL changes...this is the best way to play Borderlands in 2024/2025. Still, I did encounter a few bugs but nothing show stopping. The missions in this one are some of the best in the series and many are quite unique, and the writing is pretty top notch. Beat it again in record time and going to tackle the DLC that I never finished back in the day, next. Super fun!

The age of the game was a slight issue, the multiplayer was too hard to play with the lag and there was a lot of clipping. Still a fun looter shooter FPS that was worth the time invested, although I feel like I had my fill and don't need to play anymore.

Highly addictive gameplay and best in class game that feels great to play even in 2025 and I have played the other two and somehow this feels better and more stable.

Terrible remaster that adds few QoL fixes and nothing else. Pros: - You automatically collect the ammo - There's an in-game map - You can use modern resolutions Cons: - No bugs were fixed: Enemies still fall through the map, pathfinding 100 % broken for AI etc. - New bugs added: Moxxi Underdome music disappears whenever it feels like it, never addressed. - You STILL need to edit .ini file to remove mouse acceleration. Some QoL changes that are possible to change from. ini, crash the game - There's a memory leak that was never fixed, no matter how much community tried to raise the issue - Randy Pitchford is still in charge - Borderlands 4, despite all the half-assed stuff in the remaster is advertised in the main menu like a mobile game pop-up and is the only thing that 100 % works in this case. Gunplay is decent but don't ever buy this at full price. I paid 3 euros and while it was and is for a nostalgic factor, it's the only price the remaster deserves.
