Fun little game, but I ONLY RECOMMEND, IF it's on sale (3-4 Euros OK).
After a first run, I learnt the basics, and lost.
For the second run, I did some things differently and I won.
Can be played through in 3-4 hours.
Verdict: This title may be for you if you want a low-commitment fast and casual geopolitics game to kill an hour or two.

Pros:

Games are fast, can play a full game in a single playtime session

Cons:

Agents are predefined (not procedurally generated) so replay value feels way lower than it should be for a game that plays so quick

Gameplay feels kind of simplistic and uninspired compared to similar titles

The story is really generic and uncompelling. The spouse mechanic also is similarly annoying and adds no meaningful value to the game story.
I think there are similar games that have more replayability and more enticing storytelling/geopolitical simulation elements.
I don’t think this game is bad— it’s very clear that a solid amount of effort went into making this game and it’s not shovelware. But, given how saturated the genre is, I don’t think I’d recommend this game over the other titles you could play instead.
If you want something more complex but with very similar gameplay, I would recommend Terra Invicta instead.
