Even at its age, this is still one of THE BEST sports titles ever made, and hands-down the best Olympics title ever. The sheer variety of activities/events, the modes of play, the various skill sets needed for each event, and just the *feel* of the Olympic spirit give me a great vibe whenever I play. This is an especially great party game, played vs. or co-op. I'm still coming back 7 years later!

Just enough old school (simple button mashing, local multiplayer) and just enough 'modern' (use of button mashing tempo, online multiplayer, good graphics). Could have been better with some simple additions/changes but if you can get it for a decent price then well worth it. Plenty of fun to be had.

Why there has not been a reboot boggles my mind. Classic in every sense.

Overall a great game. An Xbox360 controller is pretty much required. But you can run 4 of them out of a computer if you want to do local multiplayer. As well online multiplayer and leaderboards make it interesting. The controls are very well thought out for added challange. But do expect a bit of button mashing, all be it perfectly timed button mashing. The commentary can get a bit repetative but fits the atmostphere well and is varied enough not to be repeated too much within a single sitting. Out of every game I've bought in the last 10 years this is the first time I am not disapointed with the price I paid. This game will be as classic as Epyx's Summer & Winter Games from 1984-85.

Good game -- need a gamepad to play properly though. Would be good to play with friends, online is empty.
