This DLC included a Killer that has been wanted for sometime. However I feel that Freddy has come out a bit weak as his weapon of choice is one of the only ones that is required to hunt the survivors. Due to this Freddy is slower at hunting his prey and has absolutely no defense when it comes to securing any kills. His tracking works only when someone is in his dreamworld however whats the point of that when people easily wake up?
Overall I like Freddy, just wish he got a bit of an upgrade.
The survivor and his perks are alright. They're geared towards upgrades we haven't had yet and allow us to make more builds that are for more gimicky styles of play. Its not a bad thing.

If you want to get DLC's to win, skip this one. Freddy is by far the worst killer in the game and Quentin's perks are not worth leveling up for either. However, that being said, Freddy is my favorite killer in that he is very fun to play and screw around with survivors with. If you want to have some fun, you could definitely get this and try it out, especially while it's on sale.

Survivor: Quentin looks sleep deprived and ragged but is a teamplayer. His perks revolve around supporting his team in different ways by opening the exit gate quicker, guaranteing a medkit from a chest, and allowing status effects to go away quicker when near him.
- Pharmacy: Allows the first chest you loot to have an emergency medkit in it and allows you to search chests quickly & quietly ( The medkit is a green tier one and can serve as a decent replacement for Self Care or helps with looting chest builds )
- Vigil: Allows status effects to clear up quicker when nearby the person using this perk ( All 4 survivors can equip this and it does stack )
- Wake Up!: Shows your aura to other survivors while opening an exit gate plus speeds up the opening ( Good for times when you need the gate open quickly and lets others know you are doing so )
-- Prestige looks decent and has clothes that blend in decently well
-- Unlikely to get other customization options due to licensing
Killer: Freddy is not a strong killer and it can be said that he is the weakest killer in the game right now. This does not mean however that he is unfun to play as. Freddy's power involves tagging survivors to put them to sleep which takes a few seconds during which they can briefly see you blink in and out. Once they are asleep ( which means they will be covered in a whiteish tint ) they can be hit and downed normally. Hooking the survivor will wake them up but they can also be woken up by other survivors, generator explosions, and failed healing checks. The only time you are able to put a survivor to sleep immediently is if you pull them out of a locker.
Freddy's perks all revolve around the end of the match to help catch survivors before they can escape or at least net you another kill or two.
- Fire Up: Speeds up almost all killer actions based on the number of generators done ( No the perk is not bugged you just won't notice much difference in pallet breaking but you'll see on other actions once enough gens are done )
- Remember Me: Increases the time it takes to open the exit gates each time you hit the obsession with the maximum amount of time being added depends on the rank of the perk ( The obsession is NOT effected by the increased gate opening time so don't let the obsession open the gates if you use this )
- Blood Warden: Hooking a survivor while an exit gate is opened will block the exits off for a period of time and show the aura of any survivors inside the exit gates ( Hard to pull off but can be combo'd well with No One Escapes Death )
-- Generally a weak killer due to needing to wait for survivors to fall asleep before you can do anything to them
-- Unable to pull survivors off of hooks, the exit gates, generators, totems, hatch, etc unless they are already asleep
-- Can generate a decent amount of bloodpoints
-- EXTREMELY vulnerable to pallet looping
TLDR: Quentin is a support player with different ways of helping the team out based on his perks and his clothing is decent camo on most maps. Freddy is considered the weakest killer in the game but can still be fun to play with and can generate a decent amount of bloodpoints.

So this character has been out for a while now and yes he was pretty bad at launch and the videos showcasing how he plays are completely outdated and irrelevant now when they showed based on his slow speed. He moves normally like every killer and suffers no speed penalty unless you miss a hit or get stunned by a survivor. Freddy is a fun character to play that shares similar elements from The Wraith that came with the base game. The only difference is that the only way people can see you is if you bring them into the dreamworld. It's essentially like marking a target which you can then hit after several seconds. He's a good ambushing character since nobody will see (or generally hear) you coming so you can make people panic and run away. Plus if the surviors are still in a dreamstate you can see them across the map if they run too far away from you since since they're technically "marked". Comsmetically he gets no additonal cosmetics due to being a movie licenced character and is based on the more recent "Nightmare On Elm Street" reboot and not the Freddy from the 80's, so it won't be an exact 1 for 1 replica but Freddy still looks generally like him and still has the iconic striped shirt and sharp glove. The survior Quinton is alright, he's nothing special asides from his one perk which gives him a guaranteed medkit if you search a box. So yeah he's good if you plan on being the medic or hook helper. Overall you're gonna be getting the pack because of Freddy and he is quite fun to play. His ambushing style playstyle will disrupt the survivors and its a whole lot of fun making them panic because they won't see you coming till the nightmare strikes. May need about 2-3 matches to get used to how he plays and a few perks to get that extra edge but he is definitely worth picking up.

Freddy doesn't need a buff or a nerf, he needs a straight up rework. It takes seven seconds to even be able to interact with survivors; that means that Freddy is the only killer in the game who's power isn't optional to use, it's mandatory. It doesn't really allow him to do much but interact with survivors (something all the other killers can do much faster than base kit Freddy, all without add-ons). It doesn't even help in a chase. Freddy is a basic killer once he is finally able to interact with someone, and the tracking ability that his power comes with only comes into play if you choose to disengage from a chase or lose someone. Add all of that to the fact that survivors can wake up in two seconds with: a failed skill-check on generators AND self-care, a two second handclap/fingersnap animation from other survivors, and being placed on the hook (effectively forcing Freddy to shoot himself in his own foot by doing what the game wants him to do), and you can see why Freddy is the worst killer in the game at this point in time.
Freddy cannot defend totems, hooks, the exit gates, generators, or the hatch until he pulls someone into the dreamworld and that takes seven seconds. A survivor can pull another survivor off the hook and both can run out of the exit gates while Freddy can do nothing about it for seven seconds. I've escaped through the hatch as survivor in a Freddy match by waiting for the hatch to open while Freddy is right on top of me during the dream transition and jumping into the hatch right as the dream transition ended; the Freddy player had no way to stop me from doing that. Awake survivors do not respect the lullaby; they do not move for Freddy as they do for other killers, and will continue to repair generators, clean totems, heal, unhook other survivors, and try to open exit gates in his face blatantly (even during the dream transition!). I think it's ridiculous how survivors get a lullaby to tell them Freddy's approaching, in addition to the seven second wait time during the dream transition; no other killer has to wait as long as Freddy does to perform their basic function: hurt and kill (meanwhile, survivors get MORE than enough time to know to run away, even before the dream transition is started). Plus, survivors can get a skill-check during the transition and fail it before the transition is even finished, making Freddy have to work far harder than just about every other killer. Freddy's power does nothing but hinder him and he needs a straight up rework BAD.
I had high hopes for Freddy; he's my favorite slasher in horror. It's disheartening to see that he's been made into a complete joke in this game. Not to mention, just about all of the other killers in the game are either original to the game or are licensed DLC based in their original incarnations; Freddy is the only killer who is based off of his license's respective remake film, which just sucks entirely (and it's the remake boyfriend Quentin as Freddy's survivor; it's not even the remake Nancy as his survivor). The game mechanics in this game don't even follow ANOES lore. The entire concept behind the ANOES films were that you had to fall asleep at some point. For some reason, Freddy has to force people to fall asleep in this game, a long transition that can easily be negated with a quick skill-check or another survivor. Yeah, I'll play Freddy as killer from time to time, but I'll only recommend the ANOES DLC in this game to other people once he gets a MAJOR buff or (preferably) a complete rework.

I really enjoy playing as Freddy. People complain that he's boring to play, but not me. I love being able to teleport to the different gens and giving the survivors a scare. His perks aren't amazing, but if you use a mix from other killers then you'll have a great time...especially with aura reading perks.
Recommended!

So i first pay 7 euros and a week later the killer gets nerfed to the ground and is underpowered as f3ck. Because some people with 20~30ish hours in game cried, because they didnt know how to counter freddy. No one is using Freddy anymore. I feel like im getting scammed. Dont buy it.
The survivor / killer perks will be in the shrine soon or later anyways, but the perks are moderate. Wouldnt use them anyways for my survivor or killer build.

Here's my up to date review of this DLC, I hope it's informative for those deciding whether it's worth the buy or not.
How good is Freddy?
I think Freddy is the third best killer in the game, after Nurse and Spirit, and unlike these two he is very easy to use. His teleport ability gives him amazing map pressure, while his snares give him excellent anti-looping. Unlike Nurse, he is not map dependent at all, he does just as good in big or small maps, indoors or outdoors maps.
How good is Quentin?
Every survivor can use the perks of any other survivors once they are unlocked in the bloodweb, so he is just as good as any other survivor.
How good are the perks in this DLC?
To be frank, none of these perks are meta. The current perks killers and survivors use far outperform Freddy's and Quentin's perks. There are some perks that I would consider "cute" like Bloodwarden and Pharmacy, but there are just far better options, even among the non-DLC perks.
Conclusion:
I think the only reason to buy this DLC is for Freddy, but he is absolutely worth it. If you are a new player and you want a killer that's easy to use but has great potential to master, Freddy is for you. If you are a veteran player and you want a killer that is strong enough to verse red rank survivors or even SWF teams, Freddy is for you. You really can't go wrong with him (Unless you equip the awful dream pallets). However, if playing killer doesn't interest you then I would recommend you pass on this DLC, Quentin's perks are not going to do you any good.

This DLC has a horrible history let's not get into it.
All you need to know is:
Freddy is great and easy to play.
Freddy is fun to play.
He is really small for a killer.
He also laughs
(What a nice quality for a person to have)
This is a good first DLC
if you just started playing.
If you've been playing for a long time
it's also a good choice.
Both veterans and pups can enjoy Freddy Krueger.
