TLDR - The first game is better and the the rougelike aspects don't work well here. What is the point of advertising the new gameplay mechanics and abilities this game is supposed to offer, if they're just gonna take them away from you? If you're going to take my abilities away from me in the main story, at least let me use some of them in gamemodes - oh wait, this game doesn't have any. The first game having stuff like Endless and Challenge gamemodes should have been implemented here and would have been great coupled with the game's new abilities. There are good parts to this game too though: - The unkillable bosses are a cool addition (but can get a bit repetitive) - The visuals have improved - The spiky red dudes are a cool enemy variant - The kitana ability is the coolest thing ever

once you reach a certain point the game becomes absolutely mindnumbing to play, dont waste your money for like 5 hours of actually fun gameplay

This game is not worth £18 There are approximately 20 maps , which after a few hours gets too repetitive and the game works by nodes (multiple levels that you have to complete) without dying , and doing so will make you restart the node all over again which adds to the repetitiveness and is extremely frustrating. Some of them even have 10 levels which is ridiculous. This node system also makes extended time a necessity which adds to the frustration and repetitiveness This game is also based on chance, you have to hope that the unkillable bosses do not kill you , and hope that you get useful "hacks" Save your money, buy the original game and do not waste it like I did

great game have more time into the console version of this game but pc is just better 8/10

Great game with innovative mechanics. This one adds a roguelite mode to each level. If played sparcely its great, but I would not binge it, as the same 10 levels repeat over and over with some twists here and there. The dogman and the samurai still scare me thou...

I had the original game on an Xbox and it was fun. This one is just as fun as the original which is a LOT of fun. If I could I would possess enemies but I will make do since I can't do that anymore.
