This is my 1st review ever made.
Playing in VR? Just one word: WOW!
Add one more to the system requirement: You need a better headphone or better audio equipment .

A classic & an amazing audio/visual experience. Have played it to death on dreamcast and still purchased it! Shivers when I played through it again in high rez!
Lots of stuff to unlock and the new mode makes me want to buy a new gfx card and vr headset.

This content mostly revolves around the new "Area X". It's not bad, and I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, it's just not exactly what I was hoping for.
How do you get the desktop wallpapers?
Bought the DLC and found the soundtrack, but don't know how to access the wallpaper.
Anyways, the game is just as good as I remember from PS2, if not better. Sure, I finished it in an hour, but I don't regret buying it AT ALL! I've read som complaints about it not being a "real" shooter and not even a game, but these people like to think inside boxes. Rez is far more than just a game, it's an experience. The music really drives the premise, and there is a bit of a story being told throughout (especially on the last level). If you love the original game, Area X is just mindblowing... but also very very short. Like 10-15 mins short. Anyways, recommended for people who like a bit more of a visceral game and can appreciate a game for its art, music, and storytelling. Not recommended for people who think that all games must be the same.

Never played the Dreamcast of PS2 version, but heard a lot about them, so jumped at the opportunity to get the PC version after its surprise Steam launch. Very happy so far. Great soundtrack, amazing vector graphics and fun gameplay, especially in free roaming Area X. The main game reminds me a bit of Panzer Dragoon on Saturn. SWEET!

The original on DC was stunning for it's time.
This, on Vive, takes it to a new level. Everything I could have hoped for.
Now, please do Child Of Eden for PC/VR, although there is a chance I'd explode with joy.

One of the best game ever made even better on PC !
Playing the game with the mouse made me rediscover the game & the feeling is just awesome! It feels like it was always designed to be played with a mouse.
I won't comment on VR since I don't have a VR headset, but I am looking forward to trying the game with one.
