If you get Beat Hazard, you MUST get this as well.
This makes Beat Hazard 3 times as fun and full of content, with online 1 on 1 or Co-Op...

If you have itunes music, then yes I recomend the game. But it's 2017, a lot of people use streaming music services like Spotify, Amazon Prime, Slacker Radio, Pandora, and many more. If they had a DLC for this that let us use web services so we can just login to our accounts and play anything from our subscribed accounts, then this game would be freaking dope. Been waiting for someting like that for years, but never comes.

This DLC is just amazing. More weapons, enemys and game modes. You can play a Co-op or a versus match with your friends or random players. It's more challenging than any other music games that i have played befor.

are you a fan of music?
are you a fan of having epilepsy?
are you a fan of spaceships?
If you answered yes or no to any of the above this then this is the perfect game for you
Have a relaxing game of epileptic seizure inducing, space ship shooting, rhythm based mayhem.
Throw on a your favorite drum'n'bass, techno or classical music and max out visuals to 200% (thats higher than 100% by a full 100%!)
Thats not even touching on the community workshops where you can get your mitts on some brazenly beautiful custom ships.
Want to dart around as pastel colored miniature equine? sure enough you can.
Want to float around as a Drumpfs hair shooting aliens like they're...well aliens? i guess you can..
Want to slip and slide past the enemy ships as the face of pepe the frog? i mean you can but why do you want to do that?
all in all this game has everything you need and more.

New enemies, new bosses, collecting money to buy benefits for your gameplay, change of gameplay, more challenges, the enemies are following your music more than you used to, you can switch from classic to ultra when opening the game. Hell yeah definetly worth the extra 5 bucks!!!:D

I did not enjoy this DLC in the slightest. This game used to be fun. I could play it on suicidal and 100% songs and actually enjoy things. Now I can't last through a single song in survival. I hate this.

I really liked the base game, so decided to get this DLC. Instantly regretted it. It just makes the game harder to the point of no longer being fun. Now swarms of enemies fill the screen and new annoying enemies appear that just make it a pain to play in general. If you like a challenge go for it but it's just not worth it to me.

The dev took his already excellent game and set the level all the way to eleven.
You get more types of enemies (bosses included), new perks and online multiplayer.
The online multiplayer features co-op and head-to-head modes and has a nifty feature: the game indexes the songs you have on your PC, usually the ones found in the same folders you've been playing. When playing against someone else, it compares both lists and any track that shows on both of them will be playable as well as the included ones.
It is well worth the 3,99€!

Instead of trying to make the game more accurate to the beat of your music, they threw a buttload of new powerups, weapons, and gameplay mechanics in. Now whenever you rank up you get to unlock a perk. Using in-game credits you get for playing songs you can upgrade these purchased perks (more mini-missiles, longer super lasers, etc.). This adds a lot more depth and replay value compared to the "classic" game (which is still accessable on launch) and compared to other rhythm games on steam.
I used to prefer Audiosurf but it has aged poorly and Beat Hazard has received loads of upgrades. This is my favorite rhythm game on steam and probably one of the best available because of all the work the devs have put into it. Thank you for last.fm integration!
