Another great music video with great motions with the girls in more casual outfits which they shed for swimsuits upon getting to the beach. No sparkles or glowsticks for the controllers this time, you are purely watching, though for this video you have a body modelled in too (the girls put their hand bags on your lap) The characters model style is somewhere between the 1st and 2nd song this time and theres an impressive firework display towards the last quarter of the song. Another more upbeat number and a lovely ("but brief) beach sunset too.

The brightness of the HQ version of the game is generally too high! I hope the developers can lower the brightness because it's straining my eyes.

This was my first VR Concert on the Vive and I have to say; for $5.50 (-20% Off) its good. Mind you this is a one song vr concert, so don't expect lengthy gameplay. Overall, good song, good girls, very interesting setting. Worth your money if you want to see anime highschool girls up close.

An interesting sit down VR experience which acts as a private show for Hop Step Sing! I personally think it is a bit expensive for only one song but the visuals are great and the music is pretty decent. This is probably best reserved for more enthusiatic weebs or otakus but acts as a great showcase for VR's potential. I'd say, wait for a sale.

Good music. Excellent motion capture. The scale seems a tad off, though. Everything is so small, including your sitting avatar. It seems the default camera position isn't based on your HMD orientation, so you might have to do some gymnastics to get started. It's very short, so I'd recommend waiting for a sale even if this kind of thing is totally up your alley.

This is by far my favorite one, the way the girls sitting next to you is so good (mostly I was used to ghosts being around me in VR). If you are interested in the voice actresses, they had been so far involved in Wataten, Mitsuboshi Colors and Love Live! Nijigasaki idol club, pretty solid cast as well.

This just made me happy. With the 3rd song, they really made it feel like you're part of an anime music video. Even if all you do is sit around for the whole thing, the characters interact with you to a surprising degree. Helped in part by the fact that your character has an actual body, and the girls make you hold things, show you pictures on their phones, and more. While none of these songs are games, just experiences, if you go into knowing what you are getting, I would say it's definitely worth it.

Understand that this is a VR experience and not a game. It shall be reviewed as such. I honestly wasn't aware nor expecting a third single to be released. That on its own was a pleasant surprise. After the experience, I would go as far as to say I was impressed. It truly feels like the creators have out done themselves on this one. Kimamani☆Summer Vacation has the girls together once again on a journey to soak up some sun whilst merry making along the way, this time with Mikasa debuting at the fore front. Unlike the last two singles, Kisekiteki Shining! and kissxkissxkiss, the selection of music here is very rock inspired, featuring energetic beats and slick guitar riffs, complete with instrumental breaks. Paired with the lovely vocals performed by our lovely ladies makes Kimamani☆Summer Vacation perhaps the most complex single of the three. The level of complexity goes beyond the music as the scenery, thus the stage, is always moving, constantly changing. This dynamism alone is where Kimamani☆Summer Vacation truly shines as it keeps the experience from feeling stale or too drawn out. The sense of motion evoked from the moving train car together with how the cast seemingly interacts with the viewer only heightens the immersion. By showing interest in this review, you are aware of the sort of product you're about to purchase. If the thought of VR concerts tickles your fancy or you're just curious in the sensation of coming face to face to anime girls, I would have no trouble recommending this experience to you.

I'm a fan of HSS! and would recommend any of their songs. It's great having music videos like this in VR and I would love to see more artists/groups utilizing the medium. The songs might only be a few minutes of content each but I rewatch them a lot. I find music videos are a good way to wind down after playing a VR game but before taking off the headset. All of their songs are good but since you might not want to just buy all of them right off the bat (there is a bundle available), how about I rate them from personal favorite to least favorite? 1) Kimamani Summer Vacation - Good high energy song with great visuals. A vacation to remember. 2) kissxkissxkiss - A bit down-beat compared to their other stuff but still a great song and very surreal visuals. 3) Nozokanaide Naked Heart - One of their newer songs and very polished. Has interactive elements. 4) Astral Piece - Great song and visuals but this one's a solo featuring only Niina (Shikiri #1!, lol). 5) Kisekiteki Shining! - Their first song and it's visuals are a lot weaker compared to their later songs. It's just a plain stage with a lot of effects going on. There is also a live concert recording available that includes all of the above songs which is a great starter pack but it does lack all of the unique visuals of the music videos. It does have a lot of unique things of its own, though, like a 3-person version of Astral Piece and romaji karaoke. Overall, I would recommend everything they make but if you don't want to take the full plunge, at least give a song or two of theirs a try!
