Blood Bowl 2 - Amazon DLC

The Amazons is my favorite team. Ignore all the negative reviews that complains about the Amazons being hard to hit, all their teammates have Dodge and so on. Amazons are a great team to start the game with. They are semi-bashy (not as bashy as dwarves), have decent statlines, and can carry the ball, defend or go on the offensive doing drives. To play the Amazons, you need to understand that there's decent ways to build a great All-Star Team of these beautiful women from Lustria. All the teammates have Dodge, and I highly recommend you get Block. This is what's called "Blodge". Blodge is a combination of Dodge and Block. This makes Amazons very annoying to play against but a delight to play with. Don't expect Amazons to steamroll through all the teams easily. Expect the games to be tougher as your TV goes up. Dwarves are lynchpin. They can out-bash and injure Amazon players. They also can whittle your teammates down to a considerable few that they are winning drives with very little opposition. This team is very flexible. You have a lot of options here. Team composition is easy to manage. I usually start out with 1 Thrower, 1 Catcher, 4 Blitzers, and 5 Linewomen. This is a flexible composition because Throwers have Sure Hands, Pass. You can add Accurate, Nerves of Steel, Safe Throw, Strip Ball, and other ball-focused skills for Throwers. For Blitzers, it can vary. Getting Blodge, then Mighty Blow, Guard, Sidestep, and a few other skills would turn Blitzers into insane runners. The Linewomen can have Blodge, have a combination of Guard, Stand Firm, Dauntless, Tackle, Wrestle, and so on. Catchers start out with Catch, Dodge, You can add more skills such as Diving Catch, Leap, Sure Feet to name a few. Once you reach higher TVs, you will encounter teams that have Tackle, and other skills that negate your advantage. Amazons are tough to start out, are rewarding to play with, but drop in advantage as their TV rises. I still recommend them because they still have great players across their statines. Definitely would recommend this team to anyone who's interested in playing Bloodbowl 2.
