A good throwback to the previous game, with some tidbits of story in there and a whole lot of fun when it comes training and customization. Absolutely loved the original Swords & Souls quite a bit and I was worried this wasn't going to be faithful to its flash origins, but it is clear that is not the case. Loaded with tons of more content and characters, enemy variety, combat engagement such as being able to parry or dodge. This game did not disappoint in the slightest and I enjoyed all the way through. Maybe I kind of breezed through it considering that I loved just doing the training from the get-go and only actually playing stages when I was in need of cash.. But that's beside the point! This game is definitely up there in my favorites, and whether you're a fan of the creator of these games or not, you'll find plenty of enjoyment from this game.

Swords and Souls: Neverseen was a real blast for me, mostly because I loved the first game so much. If you're like me and spent hours on the original, you'll probably enjoy this one too. I'd definitely recommend it, even though a lot of my fun came from that nostalgic feeling. Though even if you never played the first one, this game could still be for you. The game loop is pretty simple: train your hero, get stuff, fight bad guys, train your hero more, get more stuff, fight more bad guys, etc... I found it satisfying. But honestly, the fighting itself is a bit too easy (pretty straightforward if you like that). Really just quite boring. I kept wishing for more engagement in the battles. The real star of this game are the training mini-games. Seriously, they're awesome. Intuitive, fun, repeatable, and nostalgic. My brother and I actually made a whole competition out of those mini-games. For about a month, we were constantly trying to beat each other's high scores. Every day, we'd check who was ahead, pushing each other to get better. it was about the bragging rights and the fun of competing. That month of trying to get the best scores was some of the most fun I've had gaming in a while (sadly, he won in the end). So yeah, if you liked the first Swords and Souls or just enjoy games where you build up your character and play fun mini-games, give Swords and Souls: Neverseen a try. It's a really good time.

I bought this game on sale because I enjoyed the flash game a lot as a kid. This game is just too drawn out and the story is uninspired. The gameplay gets stale pretty quick, I beat the game in about 5 hours, the rest of my time is AFK. For the last 3 hours of gameplay I was uninterested and solely beating it out of being past the refund period and having seen in the reviews that the game is short. The end is anticlimactic, though countering a certain attack is quite satisfying, not satisfying enough to play up to however. If Steam worked on a rating system rather than a yes or no system, I would give this game a 2/5. If you just want a time kill with some small minigames and a tiny amount of strategy, it's alright. Absolutely not worth its full price, but might scratch an itch for some people on a big sale. TLDR: This game isn't awful, it's just not very good either. 2/5 sort of game, coming from somebody who loved the less in depth flash version as a kid.

Good concept, It's fun at the start but after some point it became super grindy. Training becomes much less impactful and difficult so for a little progress, you need to spend long time on training probably failing training missions. Doesn't worth it for a single player game.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the premise is great and the game is solid. But it's grindy, and the mini-games become less novel and fun the more you have repeatedly do them to progress (slowly). Gave it a good run but it's not worth the effort.

A short, cute, and engaging game with an unexpected ending. A remake/sequel to the legendary browser series "Sword & Souls" (there is a legacy collection on Steam). I especially enjoyed some of the mini-games, which may improve your reaction time

It has personality but it is weirdly unfinished, polished in other respects. Because of this, the game almost feels like it could be one of the best games to pick up towards the beginning, but as it goes on you're faced with an absolute slog of stilted training repetition, which goes from a fun minigame to the core focus of the entire game. The actual campaign missions are only a small fraction of what time gets spent on. So, it is a training simulation. And the world isn't exactly coherent. For these reasons, I'm already feeling demotivated about continuing to play - it's a repetition based game, not a content-based one.

Fun for first few hours after that it's just repetitive & boring. In the end I was only playing it for the achievements but now that is gone as well. It's year 2025 and this fucking game still does not support something so basic and so easily implementable as Steam cloud synchronization. As you may have noticed, yes, I've found out the hard way after reinstalling my OS and I am most definitely not playing through this boring ass clicker game just to get the last couple of achievements. It probably is my fault but what game made in the last 10 years still doesn't support Steam cloud? And thank you developers for giving me FOUR fucking save file slots even though NONE of them syncs with my Steam account, very cool.
