Visually the game looks good but I have to ask.. Where is the blood? FUMBBL's java client has more blood than this. It doesn't matter in the end but it would be a nice quality of life thing along with pitch wear and tear and some other visuals. Other than that, the game seems alright. Every race is in now except Chaos Pact I think.

True to form, this expansion is new additions... + 7 returning races: Halflings, Ogres, Goblins, Vampires, Amazon, Elven Union, Underworld Denizens + A brand new race: Kizlev Circus* + Endless League as a true and proper single-player experience** + Mixed Teams to try out some crazy combinations*** + Custom Teams to really let loose! +Challenge Mode, which reminds me of the Chaos Edition's Story Mode, where you get to attempt an escalating series of different scenarios. + 2... interesting... new choices for cheerleaders: Orc and Dwarf. ... albeit with some caveats: -*who are just another bunch of normal humans with Long Legs and Leap and only ONE Bear. -**which still needs a persistent Online Connection to function, with the game pinging the server at every blink. -***but are limited to specific sets, such as the self-explanatory Human League and the more head-sctratching Anti-Fur Society; you’re stuck with the generic jersey colours set that cannot even be expanded on, as, while there are sections for the Mixed Teams in the Store, they are completely and totally EMPTY; and you don't get ANY of the All-Stars. On a side note, there is also a chance to have some raucous fun with a friend utilising one of the three All-Star Teams - that is teams made up exclusively of All-Star players - which you can select only in friendly matches. I'm pretty sure I may have missed something out, but these are all points drawn from my personal experience of the Expansion, which, despite the caveats, I would most definitely recommend getting - alongside the rest of the DLC teams, of course - to finally get the COMPLETE Blood Bowl 2 experience we have all been waiting for!

It's great in the right community. Also haflings are so much fun to play and get all those beautiful losses and that one amazing odd victory. A must have for base version owners.

The game itself is already going to deliver the ideal gameplay experience as is, given the source material, so all that one can ask for here is more variety, which it provides. The new single player mode mirrors the first Blood Bowl's main play mode, which was solid. Additional teams and characters help to spice things up, and the allied teams are especially interesting as a side diversion, particularly if you want to try out characters from a bunch of teams quickly all at one time. Of course the price is too high, but not compared to the single team gouging from before. If you like the base game well enough, it's worth it.

Really just having a ton of fun on this game. Figuring out strategies for each of the teams, the commentators, and the crazy rolls of the dice are great. Looks like I have my teenage son hooked on this game as well! The comments are great and animations are fun. I also like that I can just play vs. the computer when I have time as that is at a premium at this point in my life. Buy it and have fun!

! THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE SINGLE PLAYER PORTION OF THE GAME ! If you want to buy it for the single-player additions- I would not recommend this product. This expension has added a new solo league mode where you create a team and play vs the AI in various competitions with random rules. The problem is the AI still doesn't have turn awareness and all teams use the same tactics (if you haven't played the game: imagine an agile, slim elf throwing himself at minotaurs and ogres and gets wrecked). I will happily revise this review if this issue will be addressed.

Lotta Blood, what's more to want? Legendary Edition finally provides the Teams we've been waiting for since the release of the game. Ogres, Halflings, Goblins, what's Bloodbowl without the ridiculousness? Big plusses are definitely the new races, the individual team builder, the new leaque options (although there's not a feature to get AI teams in your Leaque like it was advertised, so a minor minus) and the mixed races. Allstar Team might be funny for a few matches, but it's not something i'd do regularly. The new Stadium is also pretty good-looking and ideal for more south-of-the-hemisphere-teams. Minuses were the AI, which didn't change at all and still isn't comparable to human players - which prohably won't ever change now that the Final DLC has been released. Also, as mentioned above the AI-Mulitplayer feature is either hidden very well or simply not existant. It could have been more than one Stadium, to be honest. All it's a nice DLC especially for Multiplayer, but the noob-AI still won't make you binge-play it on solo.

An excellent addition to Blood Bowl 2. Highlights: 8 New Teams. Mixed Teams Available. New Stadium. Better Single Player. I haven't played all of the new teams yet, but I have tried the Vampires, Goblins and Amazons. The goblins are as fun to play as before, just don't look to win very many matches. The new stadium is nice, but nothing to really get excited over. What really stands out for me is the new single-player mode. You can go through a couple different modes with offline teams. It's great if you want to get in a quick game or want to try out a new starting lineup or team you are unfamiliar with. If you're a fan of BB2, then this is a must have. To be honest, the AI does seem better, making less "stupid" mistakes than it used too. Further testing is needed to see just how better it is. Seriously, try a Goblin Team, they're really, really fun!

If you are into the multiplayer parts this is probably a no brainer - more teams more stuff, what's not to like. For the single player aspect though ... why put all the work into the new leagues if the AI is still terrible? I'm no expert player but it is very hard to lose to an AI team. The only visible change I've noticed is the AI will not try to score on the final turn if it can't win anyway, which is fair enough but doesn't make it any more competent to play against. They can't even teach it to move after a blitz, which to me would be a good place to start. Oh well, maybe it will motivate me to get online and try some multiplayer just so I don't feel like I wasted the money. Still, pretty dissapointed they didn't put a lot more work into improving the AI.

This may just be pure salt from me, but since this game still refuses to make local leagues fun. The only way to play this in hotseat is to use the custom team feature and manually track the points and edit teams accordingly, while noting down SPP etc. by hand. Its also annoying that you have a forced online component, so if you play the new Eternal League *Singleplayer* content, you still have to make sure to have a globally unique name for your team. I guess they hate the idea of local play because why make a group of friends pay 45 bucks for a game when you can charge them 45 bucks each? As much as I enjoy the game, I can't help but hate this money-grabbing scheme.
