Do you like watching chemistry reactions? Where 2 things combine and produce something unique and beautiful? Well this soundtrack is that thing. You can hear classic music but at the same thing rock/metal composed by The God himself, Ridiculon. Its really a stroke of genius to think that a concept like that would actually work. Don't even think about it, buy this soundtrack, it's really worth your time and your money.

File Format: MP3 (320kbps) and WAV (1411kbps).
Before I went deep into hard rock/heavy metal territory, I grew up on a large dose of classical music, listening to it almost daily until I got sick of the repetition. Even still, that does not detract from the fact that the composers of that era were hardworking geniuses that could cram a mountain of melody and harmony into their compositions.
Years later, alongside the release of The End Is Nigh comes possibly the soundtrack that made me start really appreciating Ridiculon. I wasn't all too enamoured with Isaac Rebirth's soundtrack initially, but their remixes of well-known classical tunes married together rock and classical into a rather potent combination that keeps TEIN tense and exciting at various stretches.
Note: This almost NEVER goes on sale on Steam. If you ever spot it on sale, make it a point to pick it up.
Track picks:
THE ARID FLATS - New World Symphony (Dvořák 1893) [but why couldn't they have put BOTH the Past and Future versions into the download instead of remixing both into a single track?]
THE MACHINE - Flight Of The Bumblebee (Rimsky-Korsakov 1899)
GOLGOTHA - Night On Bald Mountain (Mussorgsky 1867)
ACCEPTANCE - Hungarian Rhapsody (Liszt 1847)
THE FUTURE - Requiem (Verdi 1874)

As far as their work in video games goes - this is hands-down Ridiculon's best soundtrack. They just took some awesome classical music and did all kinds of crazy wonder stuff with it. This runs the gamut from gritty 8 bit jams to some heavy metal ballads. Too awesome. And I have to say that at first I thought the soundtrack was small because I'd keep hearing the same classical themes playing - but there are actually several variations of each song here. In-game I was probably too focused to make mental notes, but it's super obvious when checking out the soundtrack files.
Great stuff.
