Well, it's been over a decade and I still always come back to it!
Really scratches that zombie strategy itch in a way that other games never seem to. The first game was fantastic, too! They really perfected what they were going for with this one. I love the style with the maps and journal, everything feels so tactile!! That kind of style is rare these days.
For a game that seems quite simple on the surface, the various game modes are genuinely challenging to beat and the characters you play as are diverse and dynamic. There is truly nothing else like this game. Other strategy games leave me craving this one. It's also very palatable and easy to pick up and play anywhere as there isn't really much gore, but it isn't boring at all and is still surprisingly immersive. Super unique for a zombie game.
If you love zombies and turn-based strategy, this game is a must play. One of a kind!!!
