The game isn't hard, its just poorly designed. The tutorials are written by an alien. The game has okay music, fantastic character design (the girl actually has nice clothes without being gooner) with solid voice-acting and good character banter. The enemy design is terrible and an insult to character design. The hex-based exploration grid that you have to unlocked is just busy work without being interesting or very rewarding. Combat does reward strategic thinking ahead, but punishes you if anything goes wrong. This game is a tragedy; a fun and inventive attack system trapped in an otherwise mediocre game. I would love to see a sequel that makes the game fun to play instead of this chore.
