Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 Reviews

Once you get a few jobs under your belt & start to get the hang of the game, it becomes a job lol - you finish one car & turn around to an endless flow of more. But the skills & cash pile up, it's fun to decide whether it goes to the test track, & using all the diagnostic tools. I have two bays, tools & the 9 part instant analysis perk, checked out a couple barns & didn't really get the plan, haven't been to an auction yet. But am I getting these cars to keep or sell ? I'm good with both lol Basically, the jobs are the grinding & don't really change, but you knock them off to build the shop up. I'm thinking I can move to restoring & selling barn finds & auction vehicles, & this will make more loot than answering the phone ? I don't play every day, I do a few jobs here & there & play in bursts if there is a perk within reach. This game joins ATS/Euro2 in that I will be playing for years, building the business & managing all aspects isn't mere distraction, it is a mental workout that is the best part of gaming.

Super boring and repetitive. Achievements require you to spend years in game like unscrew 500000 bolts or listen to 10000 songs. I bet that most people who got these achievements hacked them. Wasting time simulator.

Not for me. You have to play SO LONG before you get access to a battery recharger. You have to play SO LONG before you get access to body repair. I'm 59 hours in at time of review and I still can't paint a car. I have a warehouse full of barn maps, because the game keeps surprising me with barn maps, and there's a max amount you can unlock on your map. And the barns are full of cars and car parts, most of them junk, and none of them you can repair the body within the first 60 hours of play. It's... boring. Very repetitious. I plan to play at least until I can repair body parts, but I'm BORED with the game by now. Getting it won't be fun. I'll have more reason to go to auctions, I guess? They expect you to put way too much work into so many boring projects just to unlock the level ups that make sense to have much, much earlier. I have 300k $$$ and I can't afford a battery recharger? It's bad. Taking the 2021 version off my wishlist after posting this, because I expect it's just the same. Frustrating, boring, repetitive, and mid.

this game is great and allows you to either follow a story line or create and follow your own. 100% worth the money and honestly i wouldve paid more. try it out

Shit game, don't play this. it has so many small bugs that make progress impossible.

Way more addictive than i expected it to be, i just wanted to tinker for a few minutes but now i just cant stop playing! A complete steal when discounted, dont delay on this one like i did, grab it!

Great game especially for the price now and still stands up well against the newer versions
