Used it for years at this point, easily my favorite out of all the battlemap makers ive tried. Simple, effective and can run on a burnt potato.

Nifty little software for the price you pay, what other reviewers have said regarding the loading time is true- booting takes longer the more mods you have installed and the non circular room options can be frustrating to say the least.
That said, I love everything else about this program, I have other map makers for 3D maps and while they're quicker, I struggle to make the maps as personal as I can in this one. I have spent over 50 hours crafting many maps for my PC's to hand to DM's and my own games and keep finding myself booting this mapmaker over others simply because it's so easy to use.
Is Illwinter's Floorplan Generator perfect? No, but if you're just starting out making maps and don't want to pay either an subscription or a big amount it'll be great to put some maps together or figure out what you want from a mapmaker.

Great minimalistic yet powerful tool to quickly generate fantasy maps for TTRPGs. I find it best at generating caves/dungeons, as for me it is hard to create an interesting outdoor map.
