A very good OST for a cult classic

wow what a soundtrack. i never buy soundtracks and yet here i am.

The best part of the whole game! Very awesome and well done music. It’s so good that you could sell it by itself. Very similar to my favourite all time artist Tangerine Dream, with a hint of Kaskade and AuX.

First OST DLC that I bought because I liked the music, and not because it went with the game in a bundle.

These are increddible!! Some of these tracks are straight up deserve to be a NCS or Monstercat releases! [strike] (although that may come out as an insult, since most Monstercat releases nowadays are generic love-pop puke, but i assure you that i meant that in a good way) [/strike]

If you told me that Spaceplan had been made purely to feature this album, I would not be surprised, nor disappointed. This is not to say the game is marginal; it's a nice incremental game, and I enjoyed it. But I feel it works better because of the music (and I wouldn't enjoy the music quite as much if I hadn't heard it while playing Spaceplan, come to think of it). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, good tunes. I bought the soundtrack immediately after finishing the game.

I absolutely loved the music in the game, so I purchased the soundtrack. The best compliment I can give, is that I transferred the files over to my mobile so I can listen while I'm on the move. I've had three back to back listens so far. For a couple of bucks, there are 12 tracks all coming in at around 5 to 7 minutes each. For such a small asking price, there is both quantity AND quality here. With my three complete listens I already feel I have had value for my money. The album would be suitable for any fans of ambient electronica. While Logan Gabriel has produced an album which stands very much as it's own thing, I did think of all of the following at times while I listened: Brian Eno's Apollo album Baiyon's Pixeljunk Eden OST Jim Guthrie's Superbrothers EP Anjunabeats Presents Mat Zo 01 If any of those are your bag, you will definitely dig this intergalactic soundscape. Stand out tracks are opener 'Lost', the super spaced out 'Contiguous' and the just absolutely epic 'The Descent'. For those who have completed the game, that last one will have a special power. My one gripe is that it doesn't show up in the library as a soundtrack and so cannot be played within the Steam music player. Instead it is simply a DLC which adds the music files into the games root folder. Considering I listen to this on my mobile, it's really a moot point but it is nice when the OST shows up beside the game. I am going to be listening to this for some time to come and would encourage everyone who gets the game to pick up the soundtrack too and support the artist. I will be searching out more works from both Jake Hollands (the designer of the game) and Logan Gabriel (the composer of this sweet soundtrack).

Logan, from musician to musician, thank you. You almost made me cry in front of a bunch of 3D spheres and stuff. Amazing job, you truly made something that we can call art without hesitating dude. Thank you.
