Great adaptation of the board game, only wish that untrained soldiers could be flipped to to trained instead of being two separate pieces.

This is one of the best mods I have ever played in TTS, if not the best.
The scripting is phenomenally implemented and makes games a breeze. The assets are pretty cool too, a lot of care has been put into it. From the sounds of the gong when turns pass, to the trumpet sounds of VP flags as they're turned. Drawing from decks is streamlined with a few button pushes, and it is very easy to use for those with no previous TTS experience.
I wish the actual board game had some of the tokens included in this mod, like the hat or the armies. In a way, it's even better than the physical edition of the game.
You don't have to worry about drawing generals, keeping them secret etc etc.. the mod does it all for you.
Comes also with handy references for scoring and turn structure, as well as the full rules should you need to look something up.
The only nitpick that I have is that I wish it also included the additional compendium of generals and state enhancements, but you can always find it on google, one click away.
Note that in order to play only one player needs to own the mod, so you can always find a fellow player before you decide to spend on this. But if you like Three Kingdoms Redux and use TTS, I would encourage you to get it - I've heard nothing but praise from other TTS veterans as they´re blown away by the quality of this implementation.
Also note that this goes on sale alongside TTS - so that is the perfect opportunity to get both at a really good value price.
If you are looking for other fellow players, look up the dedicated Discord for this mod in board game geek, usually games are organized there.
About the game itself I'm sure you can find praise everywhere, and I really can't do it justice here. It's phenomenal, in my opinion one of the best ever. If you like medium to heavy euro games, this game will not disappoint and it's certainly worth trying out, if only to experience the unique design.

Very nice game. I own the board game. I really liked it. So I wish to try online hoping I could find random players around the world. This online simulator is really cool. Hopefully, more players will join so I can play.

Pros:
- visually gorgeous (better than the irl board game)
- rewarding and strategic gameplay (minimal randomness)
- historically engaging (minor changes are made, but most of it is for gameplay purposes)
- well done scripting with plenty of helpful descriptions
- loads of replayability
Cons:
- very long game sessions (3-6 hours)
- minor General imbalances
- hard to find a group to play with
- the Enhancement cards could be made more practical (draw 2 or 3, select 1 would be a fine houserule imo)
Overall I'm extremely impressed with the game and am playing it as frequently as I can.

In terms of DLC Quality this is up there with the Best you'll find anywhere in TTS. Lots of Scripting and automation with animatated element and sound effects to dress it up and above its real world counterpart.
All the flat token elements have been replaced with 3D objects and the room its set in is themed to match the game which helps tie it all together.
I think part of the reason it seems to get little love is the design mechanic that requires this to by a 3 player only game no more no less, which can be a bit of a turn off. But if you've 2 friends and a few dollars to spare I'd highly recomend the investment. Even if its just so you can see whats possible in TTS.

Set during a legendary civil war in Ancient China, Three Kingdoms Redux is a game for three players to go head to head (to head) in an epic struggle for domination of the Chinese Empire. You will have to rely on many different aspects of ruling your state, including developing infrastucture, maintaining (hopefully!) friendly diplomatic ties with the tribes living outside your kingdom, warfare, and [strike]bullying[/strike] politely but firmly requesting fancy new titles from the Emperor.
It is quite involved, and will take some time to play, but it's an incredibly rewarding experience to play through an asymmetrical yet finely balanced game such as this.
The quality of this DLC is incredible with 3D models replacing some of the tokens from the physical game, as well as a very satisfying array of sounds when certain kinds of tokens are flipped over.
And finally, if you are a fan of the Three Kingdoms era (be it through Dynasty Warriors, the classic novel, or anything in between), you must try this game. But it is in no way necessary to know anything about this to enjoy the game.
If you're looking to try this game out or want to learn it, feel free to get in contact. I am always happy to get this to the (virtual) table and share in the experience!
