A fun little game. Mixes some survival horror exploration with a pretty interesting premise and story. Kept me hooked from start to finish, and the gameplay was more engaging than I expected it to be!

Not reliable. When I began to talk about a witch during my intership I got fired. Maybe they were corrupted?

Spectacular game. The story is intriguing and I found myself being surprised multiple times at where the narrative was going. There is a good combination of horror, commentary, and comedy making this game a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The new path and content that comes with the Executive Edition was definitely worth playing through again and I don't regret playing through the game again and again to get all achievements ("Control" was such a pain to get). The gameplay is simple and difficulty is relatively low as items are abundant. My only gripe would be having to play through many of the areas again as the enemy encounters become a bit annoying, but overall the game design is well and encounters are balanced well. Go into the game without looking at anything beforehand, stay curious, explore, look for secrets, and go back to replay all the missing content.

Update:
Never thought I'd be creeped out that much from a pixel horror game. I played Outlast ffs... the atmosphere and the humor are really well made as well.
Even more mechanics and items got unlocked. The game is actually pretty complecs with smart puzzles. The resources management part gives additional tension and taking more risks to save some of them. Totally recommend this game with both hands.
Alright. We got a witch to hunt.
An amazing game! Great story, beautiful art and music. The negative comments have no ground.
You will love it if you like:

This game has amazing pixel art, a great soundtrack, and a well written story (with multiple endings).
Wish there was a double-like button

One of the most interesting narrative and atmosphere ever created, completely ruined by some godawful gameplay, tedious, repetitive, making you wait for enemies patrols, with bad collisions. Made even worse by consumables-based saves, which make you take risks, but you can easily lose 1+ hour of progress because of a monster that you'd easily avoid on another try.
After about ten hours, I just lost all curiosity for the story and all desire to continue.
go play the dev's other game (Count Lucanor) which doesn't have these problems and is a real gem.

The art style is enjoyable and the cutscenes are really cool imo, I found that the game had too much talking. I think over about the 3-4h of playtime over 2 hours was just dialogue. That's not really a bad thing if that's what you're expecting and the writing can be quite funny, although nothing really made sense at that point as it's still early, it didn't really make me curious for more.
Quit the game the moment I died when tried to talk to a character but was too close to an insta death, putting me back over an hour of progress. Like many reviews mentioned, the save system is insanely stingy. I am sure you all know games like Resident Evil use ink ribbons to save, it is similar in this game, instead you need 2 items though. I had a bunch of one of the items needed but I had only 1 of the other one. Making me unable to save often unless I constantly backtracked to an 'unlocked' save point. I get why these games do it, it should add tension but in practice it's just annoying. It is simply not done right in this game. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad if you could at least skip text boxes and cutscenes but the game does not respect your time.

Yuppie Psycho is a special games. This game has a lot of secrets and paths to take to reach the final conclusion. The only sentence that can describe this game is "Work force ruined my life". Overall this game has a lot stealth and puzzle elements with a good lore that will be hard to decifer even with replays. A solid 9/10.

Yuppie Psycho is, without a doubt, my favorite horror game of all time. Its atmosphere feels meticulously crafted to keep a constant shiver running down your spine, all while maintaining a bright and colorful aesthetic. The puzzles strike a perfect balance between being entertaining and challenging, requiring players to think critically to solve them.
One of the game’s strongest aspects is its cast of unique and engaging characters. Their distinct personalities, well-designed sprites, and captivating dialogue make every interaction memorable. Brian, the protagonist, stands out from typical horror game leads—his reactions feel refreshingly realistic, whether he’s utterly confused or downright terrified, mirroring how most people might feel in his situation.
The story is intricate and full of mystery, leaving much for the player to piece together. With multiple endings shaped by the choices made throughout the game, Yuppie Psycho offers a highly immersive experience. The freedom to explore the eerie, ever-interesting office building at any time adds another layer of depth, making discoveries—both essential and optional—feel rewarding.
While there are a few moments where the next step or a puzzle solution might feel unclear, these instances are rare and do little to detract from the overall experience. It’s difficult to find a game with such a unique blend of atmosphere, storytelling, and game play, and I cannot recommend it enough to horror fans—or anyone who has ever worked in an office!
