Dark Souls fans who like top-down games are probably going to like this. Me, not so much.
I wouldn't let the negative reviews fool you, this is an amazing game with things in it that some would consider problems and others would consider a hardcore feature. You are operating completely blind and are expected to get lucky then die and get lucky then die over and over again to understand how the game works or watch a video on it. It's not easy without external research and even then it's still a pretty hardcore experience. This seems like the sort of game I don't want to play alone because there's this sense of progression I wanted that just didn't feel like it was coming fast enough for me, and I've played for at least more than an hour offline as well. One day I will play through this game because the art direction and atmosphere have me completely sold it's just hard and a bit tense lol
Either way I think you should buy it.
