Absolutely charming, completely adorable, and full of joy. This game fulfills the desire to have cute little creatures follow you around, as well as giving the important farming, fishing, and friending goals of a true cozy game. Definitely reminds me of the energy of Pikmin in a lot of ways.

Extremely cute and stylish hybrid of a couple game styles. It's not as deep of a farming/town sim as the big ones, it's not as deep of a creature collector as dedicated ones, but it hits enough of the fun points of both alongside so much style and personality that it is an easy recommend to anyone who enjoys both genres. There's no romance options or anything like that but the cast of characters feel like a nice group of friends by the end of the main story. Also extremely family friendly. If you look at the game and think it might be for you, it is.

I love this game. It's cute and kitschy, you can get a lot of hours out of it (I'm at 50 hours and expect to put in another 20-30 before getting bored), and there's a good variety of things to do (I've finished the main quest line and still have plenty left to do)! It's a great combo of mini-Stardew and cute-Pokemon as the devs promised. --- SMALL SPOILER BELOW --- The only feedback I have for devs is that the ~late-game selling location~ is annoying. It uses so much energy, takes a long time, and doesn't get much profit. Also, it's irritating that certain items can ONLY be sold here and that there's nowhere convenient to check the selling day theme (a mail reminder or inventory-menu notice would be helpful). I'm still having a great time with the rest of the game, so it's by no means hurts the overall experience. Just, it's annoying enough that I ignore it entirely.

Language feels like trying way too hard. I can't get past all the nonsense ("...and junk").

I think this may be the first review ive ever posted, but game is adorable, and weird, and the writing can be very witty and funny and the little oobz are all great. There's enough variety in the oobz to pick your favourites. Its very chill, no time limits on anything, a bunch of friends to make and things to collect. I am a 33 year old man but I have had so much enjoyment just wandering about, chatting with the people and playing dance dance pokemon battles against the strangest of walking veggies. 10/10 cannot recommend enough. First of all my review is based only on what I have played. Ooblet is a very cozy and fun creature collection game with farming and life sim aspects. Pros: Lots of cute Ooblets to learn new moves and try diff combos of dance teams Graphics are very cute Music is well done and enjoyable ] It has a fun story and I actully wanted to progress and finish the story. Glimys are fun to look for (like shiny hunting) You get to run your own shop which is great for earning money. When you talk to NPCs they actully have good lines throughout building friendships with them I hardly had repeat lines. Cons: In the start the days can feel very long as you have to nap your way to night time to actully go to bed In the start it does feel very slow paced There is no way to craft or make furtlizer you either spend wishes or fish for. just wish you could craft it Though their is a good amount of NPCs in Badgertown I wish we could befriend people in other places as well. Overall I really enjoyed it and the cons are more personal cons. Im glad i played it myself to form my own thoughts on the game. I really believe this is a good cozy game and very excited to see if they make a Ooblets 2!

Love the game, but it seems like the devs abandoned it spring of last year. Hope that's not true though.

This is possibly one of the greatest spins on a creature collector ever! this game is so fun and filled with love and pure whimsy! If you like games like pokemon, stardew valley, animal crossing, etc, you'll love this game too!!!!!

Although I really enjoy the game, I dislike how the devs talk to the community. Plus they didnt communicate that the game was done (or not done) and the ooblets community is left confused.
