The bones of the original Shovel Knight are so good that the developers basically released the same game three different times and bought and enjoyed each and every one. I don't know if I'd call this my favorite but Specter Knight is undeniably cool and fun to play as. What can I say? If you played the original you likely don't need any convincing from me, and if you haven't you should go do that first anyway.
