No it's not good kite simulator, but it's decent 1€ kite flying. Mountain was very bad location and city plain bad. Beach is working for me. Kite reaction near wind window edges feel strange and wind window feels too small in general. Bulling or giving slack for both lines do not affect kite at all ( except in launch ). There are few bugs how far kite / objects look like to be. It gets boring fast like kite flying in good conditions and as risk of breaking your gear is missing and thus there is very little thrill. Still choosing to recommend this, but it's only because the 1€ price. But if you do not have burning need to fly a kite skip this.

Thoroughly enjoy just chilling and flying a kite, not bad at all. Hoping to see more content added sometime.

Great fun, well made and feels like a real kite. Very good use of the controllers. nice to step out of reality and on to the beach. well worth the money. It is fun to make smoke patterns with the kite and i enjoyed the game mode where you have to dodge planes for as long as you can.

As a member of an active dual line Kite team, I get a lot of flying time on dual like kites and so I was prepared to not like this game/experience. Boy was I wrong. I find myself going back to this time and time again. Sometimes I play the actual games but most of the time I just fly on the beach. The physics modeling of the kite exceeded my expectations so much so that I think I could use this to choreograph a ballet routine for competition as long as you don’t want to include Slack Line tricks. I love that it keeps track of line twists. If you fly dual line kites or if you want to, you can’t go wrong with this game!

I LOVE this game. I like the physics, I like the minigames, and the whole thing is just very relaxing. I hope they make a standalone version for Oculus Quest 2 because I have friends there that can't PCVR that would love this.

If you like flying kites without the hassle of trying to get it airborne, untwisting the lines, repairing it from crashes - get this hehe :) Way exceeded my expectations. I cant say Im any good at the stunts - but just flying the kite is fun and feels like you really are flying a kite.

I've been holding off reviewing this game because I found the constant gripping of the controllers uncomfortable after a while and I didn't want this one drawback to affect my review. Fortunately the devs have now offered an option where this is no longer an issue and it has made the game so much more relaxing to play. If you've ever flown real kites you will be impressed by how well this translates to VR and if you haven't flown before then here's an amazingly cheap way to try. I mean you couldn't even buy the kite string for the price of this game!! The game itself offers 3 modes: The first is a stunt kite variation of the classic 'snake' game. As you collect stars, the tail of your kite grows longer and you have to avoid hitting the tail as it gets longer and longer. The second is a survival mode where you have to avoid RC planes for as long as you can. You can even take them down with your kite if you're careful and skillful enough! Lastly there's a free flight mode where you can just fly and chill, and there's the added feature of being able to turn smoke on and off as you are flying, giving you the chance to produce some fancy sky patterns. You can even change the wind strength and their are several kite skins to unlock in the game. If you have any interest in kites, just want a cheap casual game to play now and then, have kids, or just want to feel like a kid again yourself then I highly recommend this bargain title.

If you're here for a stunt kite simulator, then you're going go be incredibly disappointed by this. Pulling/pushing on the motion controllers feels akin to pressing left/right on a D-pad. The kite is attached to a plane of motion which limits its possible motions: 1) If you push both controllers forward, the anticipated behavior is that the strings will slacken, and the kite will tip forward or back. None of this is possible in the game 2) If you pull both controllers backward, the anticipated behavior is that the kite will move faster and with more intensity, in whatever direction it is already moving If you've ever flown a stunt kite and would like to fiddle around with practicing your skill set on a rainy day, I suggest looking elsewhere. If your 5 year old kid wants to fly a kite, and you don't care about their long term vision, then this will probably fool them into thinking this resembles actually flying a kite.

It's great! A genuinely polished product with a great presentation and delivers on what it promises at the price. I used to be a kite enthusiast years ago, if the devs ever expand it I'd like to see support for four-line kites and Pakistani single-line fighter kites, or maybe an environment where you fly off the back of a moving boat (good times) but this is a good five-dollar experience as it exists right now.

I'm a casual stunt kite flyer and I'm SUPER IMPRESSED with Stunk Kite Master VR. The physics are spot on. The haptic feedback is very realistic. The graphics are beautiful on the beach. The minigames are fun and challenging. I'm 100% convinced that your skill (or lack thereof) would translate accurately to real kite flying - Get better in the game and you'll improve in real life and vice versa. My daughter tried stunk kite flying for the first time in this sim/game and made exactly the same mistakes a first time stunt kite flyer makes in real life. Hats off to the devs on this project. _______________________________________________ My wishlist to make this great game even better: - more kite designs (and matching physics of course) - More locations (I'm a fan of realistic locations like parks, beaches etc. In the game, I rarely fly on the mountaintop or city rooftop because it takes away some of the realism for me) - I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a stunt routine mode where points are awarded for how closely you follow a prescribed flight path. You could follow a ghost kite through increasingly more difficult stunt routines or follow a course line which shows the flight path for the routine loops of various sizes, figure 8s, 90 degree turns, dives etc. I would spend ages trying to perfect each routine to work my way up the leaderboard. Highly recommended.
