A Hidden gem for all puzzles fans! Art direction is perfectly polished, puzzles quickly ramp up in difficulty without becoming asinine. Amazing work from the devs. Worth every penny and a crime when on sale.

A short but sweet puzzle game that gets a lot of depth out of a fairly simple set of mechanics. You have two ways to attack, sliding through enemies or stopping next to them, and the game is about picking your moves carefully to hit enemies without getting hit in return. There's a lot of variety in the enemies - some simply move towards you and attack, others have shields, others can shoot you from a distance, etc, and on later levels you'll have to think several moves ahead to clear a screen without getting hit. There are lots of secrets to discover, with some useful rewards for finding them. It took me about 7 hours to 100% it, probably half that if you just play straight through. My one criticism is that the writing is just... kinda bad. The dialog is clunky, and the overall story isn't really compelling either. It tries to be clever with some fourth-wall-breaking stuff - the reason the plot happens ends up basically being "because it's a video game and video games need conflict to drive the plot" - but it only ends up drawing attention to how little plot the game actually has. Maybe they could have put that effort into coming up with actual names instead of placeholders like "MOTHER" or "VILLAGE."

Great cute puzzle game. Just too short (I think, it could not be long enough ^^), for me less than 10 hours to get all except one hidden achievement and sadly only one save slot.

Simple game-play and mechanics, and decently challenging even without going for the extra achievements (I'm literally not sure how the 'no hit' one can be done on some levels given there are rooms where your first move is either blocked or leads immediately to a hit in one of the four directions available). So far, though, Keen seems very re-playable given a few of the puzzles have multiple viable solutions as long as you're not achievement hunting, none of the puzzles are totally unfair - and the ones that border on it make you feel like a certified genius when you sit down, map things out methodically, and figure out the solution.

Keen is a perfectly fine puzzle game with surprisingly good combat (which is really just a different kind of puzzle) along with some more traditional puzzles branching off the "moving makes you continue in a straight line" premise. The quality of puzzles and level design is quite high, with some puzzles being quite challenging (especially if you're trying to beat each level without getting hit--I had to brute force my way through a few fights with the "powers" from shrines but every fight has a solution). But if you're not interested in getting all the bonuses or the optional levels, the game allows for several mistakes per checkpoint and is thus pretty forgiving. Length-wise, it took me just under 5 hours to beat, with 47 out of the 55 collectibles and all but the last shrine beaten (because it requires all collectibles). That was having played the demo a long time ago though, so your time will probably be a bit longer. It makes good use of those 5 hours though. Cons: The levels can be a bit too long, which sucks if you're trying to replay them for 100% completion. They kinda shot their own replay value in the foot by dropping the par turn count after the first few levels. The story can be safely ignored. And I encountered a bug where the bombs used throughout the final level didn't have their visual effect my first time through, which made it much harder to understand what should have been a straightforward mechanic (I only realized this when I tried to replay the level looking for the missed secret).

This is a very fun and addictive puzzle slasher. The puzzles never felt unfair or too hard and that is ok because this game is pure joy. Reminds me of my childhood and spending time at the arcades. Retro graphics, cool art style, old school music and responsive controls...this game is almost a perfect mix of puzzles and action. Some of the tracks are so awesome ( I never use that word but in this case I just had to) really good stuff. I played with a controller and had no issues, didn't try the keyboard. Story is bonkers as it should be :) One thing that I didn't like and I don't like in general were guessing puzzles, not a lot of them but that was the only time the game felt boring and stale, not a big deal really, just annoying. Keen: One Girl Army is a hidden gem and a near perfect game, worth every penny. AWESOME :)

Excelente jogo!

This game is fun and the challanges scales up as it goes. If you're up for the task try to complete all challenges without looking into walkthroughts or guides. I bet you'll have a lot of fun.
