Mixed review.
Very simple puzzle game that takes about 1h to complete. That being said the puzzles are very intuitive but unfortunately way too simple for my liking and the mouse controls could be improved on.

Access Denied puts your brain to the test
Access Denied has you solving multiple different puzzles to be gifted a cake at the finish line. This game is a decent puzzle game that has a bit of challenging puzzles to solve, with a few stumping me for a bit. I got them in the long run, but its good to know that they aren't just a walk in the park to complete. I will say that getting the cake at the end does feel a little underwhelming since it just ends abruptly.
Overall, Access Denied is a decent puzzle game that will put your brain to the test.

Short and sweet little puzzle game that's definitely worth the time it takes. A few puzzles are too simple or too complex, but the balance is overall pretty good.
An amalgamation of disjointed design ideas
Difficulty: All over the place
The game consist of 36 different small-scope boxes, each usually requires a gimmick or two to solve. Some require observation, some pattern recognition, some blind experimentation. The majority are ridiculously easy, some are actually good and fun, some expect you to take wild logic leaps with moon logic. But there is no coherent design direction here, I feel like the devs had a bunch of ideas and for each one they made a box. Good UI and sound design though.
I guess you can sell it as "offering a set of varied, diverse puzzles", but imho, it is just not very good overall. If you can get it on sale for dirt cheap, maybe go for it for 1-2 hours of quick fun to see if you like it or not, but the sequel is much better designed, even if it is still relatively easy.
